Going completely silent on Twitter is also odd. You'd have thought he'd at least say he's withdrawn from the deal and why.

So many things. Birch? Not coming from EFL, phoning instead. Did he know what was going to happen or was it what the EFL told CK or q what to do. Nixon going on about sensitive  plan B, which either didnt come off or we are in it now. All that money wasted, twitter silence. Just gives me that feeling something unexpected might happen.

    So what happened.....

Who had lied to us? Because Efl/Q did checks and were convinced the money had been sent, Nixon also say proof

    So why pull out?

Daft thought. Could it be because if he was chucked out he could not come back but if he withdraws he can come back if his cash is released. Just have a feeling we haven't seen the back of him

I'm sure he did. It's the what he did with it after that's the question - guy like that I don't see him sticking it in a savings account until he buys a football club.

Even if it's not crypto related he may well have been exposed to a bad investment risk and that's causing him difficulty right now.  It'd explain things a bit to mymind, but, it is entirely speculation on my part.

Could be in the Kirchener family investment trust, the one that his plane is registered yoy

This came up earlier, I'm sure he said he sold his bitcoin some while back but I have a nagging doubt that a lot of his wealth is in crypto which has been taking a kicking for a few months now across the board, even if it's not in one of the cryptocurrency that's gone completely kaput.

It'd explain his sudden absence of wealth to pay his staff and sponsorship obligations as well as our mystery banking checks.

Said he sold most of it, not at the top but before it went right down

Given its half five, can we assume the mythical millions of Chris Kirchner have not in fact been landed in the UK?

No daring boat raid delivering holdalls stuffed with bbitcointo smugglers cove whilst evading the maritime branch of the money police?

The pay day lenders all refused his £21.4m application?

mike ashley is the only long term option, we need to stop chasing results and short term goals. players and managers will come and go.

we want the owner that will put us in the best position long term and thats ashley.

we own the stadium, pay less to the creditors (even if it means -15, the CLUB is saving money) and he is showing with this process that hes not going to waste a penny of the clubs money. that is what we need whether people realise it or not.

How do we know he is buying the stadium, he didn't buy Newcastle's

I think they were both right weren’t they?

Ed Dawes said CK didn’t pay them and somebody close to Derby who might not be for much longer did.

Nixon said that the admins paid them as CK had a quick loan with them (or something similar).

Could it not be that Ed Dawes knew that the admins paid it and that’s who he meant?

If you are correct a lot of fans suffered a lot of stress on a non story as the administrators have been paying for months

    Ludicrous statement IMO.

You would rather the Club cease to exist, than a man with a proven business success history, including that of an English Football Club, take over?

Not as daft as the Twitter vote answered by 300 people 50% for Ashley about 18% for CK which when ended was sent to CK, apparently the only one with cash near the table, saying go away we dont want you. If God to forbid we end up with nobody the poster will have a lot of explaining to do to a lot of oeople

Pretty much accurate , except the parachute payments are just an extension of the PL problem.. in order to compete in the Championship you hit against the problem that maybe six or more teams are in receipt of parachute payments and so receive an unfair subsidy.

That was Morris problem, even spending as much as he did , he couldn't outspend the likes of  Aston Villa, who were able to turn down £40 million offers for Grealish, due to parachute money and similar creative accounting to what he employed. .

And the high wages being paid by the parachuted clubs just up the ante for the wages in a competitive market. Madness, complete  structural madness. And all this the brainchild of one Rick Parry.

Had to giggle when I found out the EFL get the a percentage of all transfer fees. Hardly going to try to get less transfers or lower fees are they. So also part of the problem

Maybe that is the case, maybe not. But things can and should be reported in a certain way. Until 5pm yesterday Kirchner had exclusivity and I would imagine some legal rights if Quantuma were briefing Ashley / Appleby / Morgan / Joe Bloggs about making a bid. 5pm hits and they notify Ashley and whoever else that the process is back open.

The administrators not engaging with him until then was not news! Him having a strop about being second choice is not news, that is up to him to get over. The only issue is whether they chose the right bid in the first place and how stringent their process was to select that bid. Ashley having £28m ready to go is all well and good but is a crap deal for the creditors if he wants the stadium, as I assume he would. Maybe the administrators should have tried to negotiate further with him around that but he hardly seems the negotiating type.

Let's see 28 million, 23 ish for stadium, 2 for admins, 3 for all creditors including HMRC. Think that is a goer. No wonder admin don't want to talk to him

I don’t mind other people’s opinions at all but you can’t tell me there isn’t some agendas and narratives in play.

Totally agree with curtains.. just look at what the journalists are reporting. Ed dawes CKs bid Will collapse Wednesday am, might pm. Admin turn against CK Thursday any if that happened yet. Persy,? No contact by admin to other bidders, Amin deny. CK not got the money say many I have seen it says Nixon. Not paid wages and sponsorship say the athletic at just about the worst time they can for CK, rubbish say Nixon. Read that lot and tell me there is not a lot of disinformation going round

I'm genuinely supprised Rooney hasn't walked yet.

Hes put up with more than what most managers put up with in an entire career already. It's obvious he has ambitions of being a successful manager and at the moment he hasn't got the tools to enable him to do that.

For me Q shouldn't be paid for the "work" they have done up until this point. It's been a complete shambles.

Kirchner now has to be put on the Bamford list for me.

Let's hope one of the other interested parties can take over ASAP.

He cannot , has a year left on his contract so cannot even officially talk to another club without permission and even Q won't let one of the jewels in their selling crown walk away

Remember Nixon claimed we got quantuma because nobody else would do it. Pity we can never find out if that is was true or not. Feel we would not be where we are if someone else took the gig and of Morris had not made it all so difficult to wade through

With the amortization I was surprised that they did not apparently go to the auditors ruling body, show them the way we had done it, and get something off them saying our was was with FS102? rules and base our defense of that. If I had been in that position that's what I would have done

  14. 21 minutes ago, PistoldPete said:

That all sounds about right Alf, certainly how it seems from the outside too. All media outlets are leaking stories from their own sources , who all have their own agenda.

One thing I total agree with is that there is an agenda going out there. Who's agenda and why looks like one to rubbish everyone except perhaps one bidder. Having lots of Money does strange things to people who just want more and more so they can drool over their bank accounts and assets and never spend it.

  15. 25 minutes ago, DesertRam said:

Surely nobody can get this amount of money to the Admins before it really does clear ???

cant see who you blame here - certainly not CK who still intends to go ahead when the

funds surface - is this right

Certainly sounds like that from the last statement by administrators. On many ways all they have done is to cover their rear ends

    Again....

Tell us what specifically he would have failed on... At the time... Not with hindsight... Not with the frustration of today...

What would he have failed on

Am I wrong? He moved 20.4million to a specially opened account on 19th May. The administrators have see it there, the EFL have seen it there Nixon claims to have seen it there, so he has the Money and has sent it. The anti laundering side of the bank stopped it being cleared. Nobody knows when it will be cleared, could be hours, days or weeks. Depends on their workload and the checks they do

  17. 7 minutes ago, PistoldPete said:

According to Nixon, the £45 m was split about £21 m for the club and £24m for the stadium. Whether i think either sum is too much isn't really relevant, but the sum for the stadium is required to pay off MSD, who are the only creditor with any security. There is no indication that Morris will accept any less than that. FWIW I don't think it is too much , and Clowes for example is said to be willing to pay that, and that hasn't changed. What has changed is that CK seems to be struggling to pay his bit for the club. .

From what has be said CK moved the money on 19th may and it has been stuck in an account waiting for clearance by the laundering authority. Nixon did say yesterday two banks and a clearing house though

  18. 3 hours ago, PistoldPete said:

Isn't that what Nixon has said? Or have I misunderstood (always possible given the chaos around). Certainly from my limited experience of these things it's the receiving institution that would be holding things up.. it isn't Kirchner bank holding things up is it?

Must be this end as Nixon claimed he had seen it

Not correct, you are mixing up speaking to the bank about a large transaction that would hit their red flags and providing evidence and the issuing of a suspicious activity report to (in this country) the NCA. If a bank does this (the SAR) then there is a tipping off offence that prevents a bank from discussing things with the client or working on the transaction. the US have a similar law.

you can talk to the bank about what you are doing with your money and providing them with proof that you are NOT money laundering

it doesn’t have to be a lawyer. I have a house in Cyprus, I provided HSBC with evidence of where my money had come from and what it was for in advance. If I didn’t it would have been flagged as it was far more than I would normally put through by bank account. By doing this the money was transferred with any issue

I do this for a living

    20.4 million,,,?

  20. 27 minutes ago, DCFC27 said:

You can’t speak to them in advance. The reason for this is this could be seen as assisting. Can you imagine if you went to the bank and asked what information do you need to show this isn’t money laundering and then they told you…

It’s the solicitors job to gather the appropriate evidence it’s not money laundering. If they’ve done there job correctly they’ll have years worth of history as to the origin of funds and can send that on request.

Agree but how long should it take. Appears CKs money was transferred 19th May
