I think the new era would be a great time to ditch SBW - it's already more than a decade past it's sell by date.
As for what they come out to, I quite like the randomness of some tunes that other clubs come out to (Z Cars at Watford, liquidator at Chelsea), just pick one and make that ours. It doesn't have to have lyrical significance or local relevance but just has to be the constant trigger that this is it now, match time (and literally anything is better than SBW).
Use to be dam busters theme!

Talking of the EFL, what happened to their statement about Clowes being PB? I was waiting for the one between gritted teeth saying they welcome the news. They were quick to issue one saying how frustrated they were when CK dropped out, although it seems we dodged a bullet there.
Sunday, they were sleeping

Cant be right, saw on Facebook that he was still on £90,000 a minute and that is why Derby nearly went bust, only for the next post to say that 32Red pay his wages and thats just another example of DCFC cheating.
Red32 did not pay him directly as I remember but upped their sponsorship deal by an amount to pay half his wages so no cheating there

If not already it will before the weeks out, For all my dislike for the EFL and Q it would appear that...soon, Imminent, 48 hours, Surprised how quick this will be, And all the other comments from Q have all been rolled into one and come out as June 29th ?
For sure the EFL will not want to be seen holding things up.

Great news. The one slight downer is the reference to the purchase being of the business and assets. I infer from that that The Company The DCFC Ltd , which has traded since 1884 will cease to exist.

Would have liked to have seen Rosenior given it outright. He may well end up with it, but if he was going to get it full time wouldn't we have given it to him now?
Nobody there to give it him outright!

That's good news at least we have a stadium , manager about 5 players and enough cash for the season. All we need now is an owner, CEO, and about 18 players. Moving in the right direction!

I hope that David Clowes retains ownership of the stadium and also has at least a share in the ownership of the football club and holds a directorship in the club. If that is to be the case the ground would be rent free. He is a lifelong supporter and I am very confident that his ownership of the stadium will be conducted alongside the best interests of the football club. The problems caused by the separation of the stadium from the club has caused us all some anxiety during the administration process and I never want to go through those worries again.
Don't know anything about tax and mergers but unless merging the company owning the club and the company owning the stadium get round stamp duty it will not be cost effective any other way. Would mean giving the government money that could otherwise be used on the club

Umm doubt if Ashley would visit in person. Can you imagine ..Mr Clowes we have a man in reception saying he would like to buy a club with you……bring him in Doris…..hello Mike fancy a cuppa…..tosh. If it happened it would not be in Clowes, it would be well away from anyone and they both know how to keep quiet
naaa click bait
Ashley has buildings. Clowes company looks after buildings and builds more. If they met he later says could be weeks ago could be about buildings!

You're right to question it but until someone provides a more realistic amount then that's the figure that has to be used as a baseline.
Would it surprise me that Morris sanctioned that? Does the pope wear a pointed hat.
Didn't Red32 pay half of his wages

This is the source of the info. Doesn’t say who the others are. This is the quote;
“Roos was one of three players over the age of 24 who was not offered new terms by the Rams before they submitted their retained list to the EFL. Roos is searching for a new club ahead of his Derby exit becoming official later this month.”
Seen on twitter he has gone to Aberdeen. Might be true

How do you know that 32RED didn't have a get out clause in the event of relegation?
Did they pay up front last season to give us cash to keep going.

I have followed the rams since 1960 but I am now at the stage that I cannot take any more ups and down. I was in year when we were debated in parliament with so many important people saying a way to save us must be found, again when CK said he would be the next owner and gain when he pulled out. I have been sad, happy, angry up and very much down . Personally both of today's announcement have left me cold. Hate to say it but one more down will be my last as I just cannot take any more. Nobody is thinking about the fans and how it affects us. One more down and u will just give the rams up and walk away

A little nuance in the statements - Clowes has bought the company that owes the stadium rather than the stadium itself so one could assume from that that the debt still exists within that company. Unless some deal was done with MM of course....
In buying the company and not the stadium saved a load on stamp duty had just the stadium been bought

He’s done more than that to show he has the cash ready. People have seen it. And he did go public getting his media to report it. Q aren’t interested despite pressure from the EFL. Clearly they have other routes they are pursuing that are not him, but no one has proved funds other than MA as of now, that’s not to say that won’t change.
Let’s hope whichever route they choose it isn’t another Kirchner. The more I hear the less confidence I have in Q.
One thing showing a bank account with 50 million in it. Totally different thing both putting an actual bid in especially one that uses all 50 million. So far he appears to be just playing to the crowd.

Exactly this. The fans and the workers for Derby have been put through the ringer enough. No more game playing, get us bought and get us signing some players.
I now do not believe any stories in the media. I am old by enough to remember Tim Ward as manager but cannot take yet another let doen because some journalist wants clicks on his story Had enough of it

Saw something this morning that said he still has shares on Newcastle. If true he would not be allowed to own another club?

If you do a BACS transfer you put your own reference name on the transfer. The account it goes into sees the account number it came from and the reference. None of anybody's business at dcfc it is between him and Q but would be interesting to be told how it came to light and who reported it.
