Bear in mind Mel still owns the stadium and in consequence, whether we like it or not, we're still dependent on his goodwill to complete the successful transition to new ownership. If he's looking for an excuse to say duck it, this is exactly the kind of thing that could give him it....

He doesn’t actually I was listening to the administrators podcast MSD now owe pride park due to none payment of loan

  2. Well I’ve been going through the new documents with an accountant friend of mine and although it looked grim at first a large chunk of that isn’t as bad as first thought.

He said most of what we owe is share premium which won’t need to be paid back to in theory what we owe in practical terms is the £26m to HMRC , £300,000 to Employees and the £20M to MSD = around £50 m  in debt we must pay assets total £64 m but we value club a slight down value at £50 M = that’s without the stadium as with the stadium the club is surplus £100 M valuation

so what I reckon the deal is really worth to Kirchner and co is approximately £ 50M assets +£  50 m debt + stadium either given by Mel or vastly reduced sum so the final deal for Derby will be £100M +

Starting to feel as though the administrators are cut from the same cloth as Mr Morris.

I’ve listened intently to their interviews over the past few months, and they confidently said that the EFL has offered them a lower points deduction and they were very confident of the appeal etc. Suddenly we were dropping said appeal and accepting 9 points.

More importantly, the administrators said they would conclude by the end of December with a week or twos grace either side.

Today Mr Jackson has come out saying he said  that it was always unlikely and was wishful thinking, hoping that they could try to sort by the end of Jan.

    Very poor.

Mate, disagree, if you read up on the maximum penalties for what Derby did we could have easily got -21 total for FFP alone for every breach year , then was going to be -14 then managed to get it down to -9 which is essentially half what we potentially could have got.

as for the takeover it was a statement of we’d like it to not it will be completed , if you add in the farce with the efl, the compensation claims by Wycombe and Boro, talks with creditors and potential new owners it was always going to be optimistic a December timeframe

  4. After having time to reflect over the sad development with our beloved club, I’d got to say it’s deserved the thing I think is worse is the business plan that we have reluctantly agreed to! Despite it possibly only running till the end of the current season it’s the most deflating thing in all of this.

say we sell Jozwiak for £1.5 m or Buchanan for say £2 m am I right to believe we could not use this money other then to pay off creditors and any replacement would be a non - fee loan player or a free agent which lets be honest who good enough will be available on a free plus surely any decent loan from the prem would command a fee.

it’s a very sad time but I think a time to be honest with the players anyone who wants to find new clubs should be able to but the expense of not being in the match day squads I’d only want people willing to still give their all to remain.

also please Wayne give the captaincy to Curtis the bloke has more passion and loyalty in his little finger then “captain Tom “ on a 1 out 15 game good day!

  5. After hearing Curtis Davies’s post match interview after the Blackburn game the most concerning thing implied was a lack of effort on the training ground.

After watching the game yesterday I can agree to an extent , players not playing for each other , stupid mistakes , poor communication, a captain that prefers to start a fight then be a leader and a totally disjointed performance.

it’s incredibly sad watching the game yesterday but there has to be brave decisions by Wayne for Millwall.

starting with Forsyth being dropped or switching to a back three , Festy coming in , Sibley in and if anything I’d drop Lawrence and give the captaincy to Davies.

As for Wycombe's claim, I hope they've laminated it because otherwise it might disintegrate after the Administrators have finished crying with laughter all over it.

As far as I’m aware he did a mini Q &A on Twitter and basically confirmed the following:

    A) he’s not a billionaire

    b) the administrators required  evidence £100 m in business

    c) will be at Blackburn game

  7. I’d prefer a rolling approach =

spend big = if get in playoffs or automatics successful

if not = unsuccessful and tighten up the next season aim for mid table but financial stability then go again.

by tighten up = more loans , Frees and sell to buy approach

it’s a risky approach but I means 1 year spend 1 year restrict it should in theory balance out FFP

According to some media sources our debt or money owed is £53.5m. £30 of that owed to MSD Holdings, the other £23.5m is HMRC, Phillip Cocu and his coaches pay off and some of the transfer fee for Kristian Bielik we need to pay Arsenal. MSD Holdings are also very keen in getting involved with loaning more money to Derby (through the prospective new owners) to protect their credit.

Garry Cook is just the middle man who is the British connection for the US prospective buyers, but I suspect he would be made CEO of the club and get a big salary.

£30 that’s not a bad loan from Dell I’ll pay that off ??
