In Parliament today Lisa Nandy attacked the government (Michael Gove)in the levelling up debate for allowing the demise of Bury F.C, and it's impact on the northern town of Bury. She said this should never happen again. No mention of Derby but can only help

Malcolm Brooks reacted to Rammy03 in Simon Jordan v Wayne Rooney
Would Rooney have taken the job if he was offered it up front? We'll never know. But that's not the point Simon. The point is that he turned down an opportunity to speak to his boyhood club. He has stayed loyal to Derby County and has got this team playing good football and in with a chance of staying up despite the most difficult of circumstances. Wayne Rooney embodies everything that is Derby County. He has brought the pride back to the club. Give him credit for once.

Malcolm Brooks reacted to KBB in What action can fans take against Wycombe and Middlesbrough
We need publicity, but not at the detriment of the players. We can't disrupt play or stop games. Imagine if we were 1.0 up, playing well, bosing the game, we chuck a load of tennis balls on the pitch, break the flow of the game and end up getting beat.

I think a proper campaign is required to get attention. Something like throwing balls on the pitch may draw attention to our plight.

Sorry bud, but in the grand scheme of things, this achieves the square root of F-all. I'd wager Gibson would much rather we didn't turn up and voice our disdain whilst leaving our lads battling a good team and 20 thousand baying Boro fans with no one to cheer them on.
If folk want to stay away, fine, each to their own, but let's not encourage others to desert the team too, nor to engage in an activities that once again drag the club's name though the mud. Support and sympathy from neutrals has risen sharply in recent weeks due to the fighting spirit shown by Rams players and fans alike. Let's not do anything daft to undermine that momentum, pretty please!

Spot on.
If the situation is as reported, and I have my doubts, then the most ironic aspect to this whole sorry saga is it could very well herald the end of the EFL, at least in its current guise. Whereas Derby were very much the focus for most of the last two years, the light is shining brightly on Parry and co now and it's really not a good look. Their zealousness to punish us to the full letter has left them squarely between a rock and a hard place and I really can't see how they survive this unscathed.

Has to be something eye catching enough to attract comment on TV

Malcolm Brooks reacted to Eatonram in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
This is Extortion plain and simple. There is an implied threat (our liquidation) if we do not pay up. I know I express a biassed view, of course, as I love this Club, but I cannot think of a comparable act by any Club against another, in the history of football in this country, that bares comparison to what Boro is doing.....they must be so proud of themselves.
As for the EFL to sit silently by as this happens within the organisation they are supposed to govern, is equally contemptable, shameful, disgusting, or worse......lacking impartiality.

I went to Man U v Derby in April 1997 in the Stretford end. We went 1 nil ,kept quiet ,but then 2 nil with Wanchope's wonder goal I went berserk. Thankfully everybody was oo.k.
