It's not pace that's the problem, it's position. The players can't find each other precisely because he's got them all running around "at pace" all the time. No-one knows where any bugger else is!
Headless chickens comes to mind.🤔

I can see us improving, yes. I think the players are a bit fragile in confidence after a poor start, and that probably isn't helping the errors being made at the back. I think a few positive results not any changes the outlook of the fans, but also probably gives the players confidence to play better football. I don't think the football, or results we are presently seeing is the norm.
To be honest cant see bird wanting to stop, hope i am wrong on this because i think he is the one to build the team round.

We're 3 games in. Clearly Clowes didn't believe in Rosenior as a stand in, that's gone and is now completely irrelevant. What happens if the next guy doesn't get us up the first time? This time next year, people will want him gone. And we end up in the vicious cycle like we did with Mel. Fans never learn.
Im not into sacking managers, but can you honestly see us improving with the way we are playing at the moment. Its got to be the training, and that is down to the coaching staff, because at the minute we are running about like headless chickens. We cant afford to sack warne so im desperate for things to work out for him, but am very despondent at this time.

Also, it doesn't sound like we're going to be signing any free agent strikers - so you can cross the likes of Sharp, etc off the list.
Personally think sharp is to old and slow now. We want someone with a bit of pace.

Hope you are sorted out soon B4.

It's the quickest way to find out what is happening at the Club but you have to filter out all the nonsense in your head.
If you can't do that, it's just impossible.
As Srg says, I follow the Club, news outlets, the footballers who still have accounts and a few people who I actually know from the supporter base.
The rest is just not so white noise to me!
👍, i dont follow anything only this forum and if things come up on twitter etc somebody usually posts on here. I find this forum really entertaining and very funny at times😀

I find reading the comments on Twitter to be sad and depressing. So many people are entitled and toxic.
Personally cannot see why people bother going on twitter.

I came across the horrific news that Southend United might be gone within 24 hours having gone through the horrific time ourselves I pray for their fans! It’s horrendous I’ve had to come across their supporters social media posts to find this out
Keeping my fingers crossed they find their own David Clowes, terrible situation to be in.

My first games were 1968, so seen the best and the worst, but still enjoy going whatever happens. Got to say the march season was great, everyone was all as one.

They will be amongst our highest earners, the restriction on wages for players coming in will see to that.
It’s obviously our expectations that drive frustration, but on one hand we know how good they can be and we’ve seen how good they can be. If we had just signed them as free agents, released by Championship clubs, the expectation would therefore be much lower. I don’t think anyone is saying they struggled to compete in League One or they aren’t good enough - we didn’t get enough from them and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with saying that.
You’re within your right to expect more from Jason Knight than you are Korey Smith, for example.
Cant work out how anyone really knows what any players wages are, unless they have seen their payslips. Its presumably guesswork.

Derby County black and white army. It was black and white, when I started supporting the Rams. We may have enjoyed some great times during the blue and white era.
It could be old age and senility but I can't remember singing blue and white army, unlike the many times I've sung Derby County black and white army.
We may have played in blue and white for a short period of our history but to me Derby County was, is, always will be Black and White.
Agree, never heard blue and white army sung and always owned a black and white scarf, though i maybe like you old fashiond😂

Bizarre start to the thread. Only two people so far have got the answer correct.
How can anyone opt for Maxwell black over Clough navy blue?
When i watched them win 68/69 old second div it was black and white, and cloughie was manager then.

1968 Derby v Chelsea league cup replay. Went a goal down then scored three in the second half to win. 30 odd thousand in the BBG sounded more like. 90 thousand. Never heard Rams fans louder, before or since. This was the start of the glory years.
That was my first ever match watching the rams. What a match for your first ever, hooked from then on.

I like white shirts ,black shorts and white socks. Probably because that was the strip when i started going in 1968.

If this season's team shouldn't expect the same level of support given to last season's team. When should they expect to hear the first chorus of booing? After the first, second or third poor performance?
Any bets who will be the first disgruntled poster calling for the manager's sacking.
I am not into booing, personally cannot see what it achieves only giving the opposing team and fans a lift.

Question in case anyone has done this before.
I go with my dad to games - but I suspect he may not renew this coming season (Health reasons). I want to change his seat to a season ticket for my daughter.
Has anyone done something like this before? I don't want to let the seat become free and then another season ticket holder could relocate to it and then hope to get in when ST's go on sale if that makes sense. Are the club flexible in changing a Season Ticket to another family member?
I think you can if you get the existing holder to write and say he is giving it up(prob have to go and renew at ticket office).i know someone who did this a few seasons ago, it may not count know though.

Edmonton in Canada. Two year visa (should be coming in the next few weeks), but I expect it to be a longer stay if things go as planned.
I'll have to get used to not being jealous of the away end while watching on RamsTV!
Wishing you all the best when you go.

Not sure how Clowes can classed as a real fan...why isn't is raging about the most blatant conspiracy of all time, with the EFL and refs all working together to deny us promotion. Supporters of other clubs often cry conspiracy when they get bad decisions and I never believed them. I do now though!
Are you serious about him not being a real fan, he is the owner and has to think about what he says. Did you want a mouthy one like morris and gibson. Thats why we nearly dissapeared as a football club.
