  1. I wonder if anyone can remember a 6 series drama programme in the 90s(I think)where it started with a woman having a car crash, It told her story, Following on from the car crash the story followed someone who was impacted from the crash, Their story impacted someone else and so on and so on for the 6 series, It was a fascinating watch, It showed how something so innocuous has such a devasting impact of peoples lives by one small incident at the start.

But the ending was quite amazing(I know what happened at the end) can anyone remember this series?

Bris is right - we’ll need to make at least eight+ signings in the summer to give Warne a decent chance of success. He’s earned the right to get backed this summer - let’s hope we’re in a position to be able to fund it!

£8million in TV revenue, Increase in ST Holders with the added bonus of them increasing, Maybe more sponsorship and investment, Pearce said we'll competitive in the market, But this comes with paying extra for better players.

I can remember a long time ago watching England school boys play Scotland at Wembley just after the formation of the Premier league and it was a really enjoyable game.

After the match they interviewed the MOTM and asked him about his future ambitions in football.

Without any hesitation he said being a millionaire was his ambition, I was shocked that someone that young was more interested in the money rather than winning the FA cup or Premier league or having a long and distinguished career playing for England.

Whoever he was wasn't wrong...imo, This is where we are in life today, You mention winning the FA Cup or Premier league, How many England World Cup Winners sold there 1966 World Cup Medals? or other memorabilia, Trophies mean didley squat in todays game, When an agent talks to representatives of a team who want to sign his player...the 1st thing on the agenda is £££££s.

Is it wrong to want a nice house, Drive a plush car, Go on those holidays that some can only see in broachers, Give security to your family...nope not for me...todays world and his was/is driven by money.

Just to put some facts in place here.

Derby have a pass accuracy of 75% on a good day. That means we have a less than even chance of stringing 3 passes together. To get ten the odds are about 1 in 20 attempts. We average 200 passes a game so once a game we may get 10 passes completed. The odds against 50 is 1 in 2million.

Even top teams say 90% accuracy will only achieve 10 passes about a third of the time.

I looked at the green man we site. I've only been in once and that was for food. That was a mistake. Do you think there will be many in there?

Not a clue Bob, I've only been in once also, I'm not from Belper...Stenson Fields, I meet a couple of friends 1 from Crich and 1 from Heanor, I messaged my mate last night to suggest The Green House...he's yet to get back to me 🤷‍♂️

Failing that I can pick it up on Sky Go on my iPhone elsewhere 👍

When I see Sibley with a run and an incisive pass like that I just want to see him given 10 consecutive matches of at least 65 minutes in a more advanced position to see if we can coax out the absolute wonder kid we had for our under 18s.

Is any manager brave enough to do that? I know he’s had ‘half chances’ where it hasn’t been great but he’s always earned those half chances by doing well in a cameo or in the wrong position.

There's a very good player in there but can be frustrating to watch at times, The effort in the 2nd half when in the box...side foot shot to the keeper when all the goal was open to the keepers left, Was the pitch to blame or just a little more composure🤷‍♂️

The pass to NML shows his thinking and ability 👌😊

  7. Murmurs already that EFL clubs could and I say could with a big spoonful of scepticism are considering a boycott of the FA Cup, Government are now asking questions.

Football did belong to the fans, It now belongs to the rich, As those down the road said when not re newing their season tickets...there will be other customers who'll take up this offer

For me, a top level footballer should earn a maximum of what a CEO or a doctor would earn.  Why should they be earning that sort of money a week?

A great post except for the above

I'm an ex Senior Union Official and fought for the rights and earnings for others, Players are no different to film stars or pop/rock stars, They have a talent that's worth people paying vast sums to watch them perform if they choose too.

Who's to blame...we the fans as we demand more and more each season.

There's nothing at all on the website about sending out postal packs.

It says current season ticket holders will be contacted by email. Every fan ID has to have a current email address.

So why do people think they're going to get a postal pack?

    Genuine question.
