Highlight of the Christmas period for me - reading this match thread and judging posters in the same way that they do our players and manager.

What a result. What a f****** result.
The performance, the comeback, the nature of the win. We shot ourselves in the foot early on, 2-0 down away to a top 6 side within 15 mins and could've succumbed to a nothing performance. We did the exact opposite.
Our form is excellent but this is the biggest "sign" for me. We can win in different ways, put in different types of performances and still get results. It's the sign of a promotion team.
I'm probably getting carried away, but you don't see this kind of thing from Derby very often. I hope we follow it up with a win vs Posh, then we really are onto something.
But for now, I'll enjoy tonight. Luckily I'm a moderator and can go and clear any trace of my Warne comments after the Stevenage game, because I was very wrong. He deserves so much credit, he's got us doing things I never thought he'd be capable of. Hats off to you gaffer.

First away game of the season for me, just down the road. We have been on top the whole first half to be honest. Two goals on the break, vulnerable with Hourihane and Bird in the middle and two poor challenges, two set piece goals. No excuses for that but not reflective of the threat they have which was fairly limited to counter attacks.
Barks hasn't been at the races so far, expect him to be subbed off at half time. Hourihane hasn't been at his best but stepped up as the half went on. Hourihane and Bird outnumbered.
Our goal was coming, hit the bar, few dangerous crosses across the face with the goal wide open. It's well within our ability to pull this back and win it, just got to watch the sucker punch on the break. Next goal will decide the 3 points, early one for us would be a real boost.
Sitting by the dugout with the home fans, Warne is screaming at them to up the tempo.

Don’t worry guys. We’re so superior to our rivals this season we’re just giving them a head start to make it a challenge. We will still get something from this game. Easy.

Same as last season - go on a run of beating teams we should be beating before s******* the bed against half decent opposition.
 
Lets hope we don’t let this dictate the rest of our season and we are able to kick back on.

Could be 5 or 6 this… we can’t cope with their quality of football 

Almost like playing the same team didn’t seem smart. 

Unfortunately we live in a world with far too many people that want everything now, and have little respect for anything. Straight to the jugular to criticise anything after an event, but these people are usually the same people that say nothing in a workplace when planning events, planning work and are all over it, if anything fails to live up to expectation. “oh you should have done this, he should have done that, she should have done that etc, but these are the same people that offer absolutely nothing when the workplace asks them at the planning events, planning meetings for the work, with ideas, recommendations, lessons learned, solutions that would help make the event or work successful.
I can see when David Clowes and Paul Warne joined that both have and will get the good good people into Derby County Football Club and have and will make it successful because the people around them stand up and contribute at all the planning meetings and events because good people have patience, respect, and commitment to work in all areas of the club, community to build and when certain results are not achieved or met at certain times, the good good people work together, they don’t go straight for anyone’s jugular and hang them out to dry or terminate their contracts or make them redundant, they look at the bigger picture and concentrate on all the positives achieved so far, and work together to eradicate any negatives they can see as a team and make the improvements individually, collectively and as a team with respect, patience, support and good will.
So I’ll continue to love and support David Clowes, Paul Warne, James Collins and everyone that wears the Derby County Ram with Pride & Respect. 🖤
PS…..Absolutely p1ssing it down today with strong winds in Aberdeenshire, trees down all over the place, trains cancelled, but I certainly will not criticise anyone or anything for the weather, it’s weather it’s what weather can do, it’s not sunny everyday in the UK, it’s weather, and the weather also has to be respected, and with patience, and trust in the good good people that have to try and make it a successful and safe place for us all to enjoy our lives, that is what I will do 🐏 🖤 🌞
