I just don’t get it. I mean, we never kill teams off, don’t use the midfield, coaching is dreadful. Given our status and advantages we should be 10 points clear .. and where are we ? Lounging around in second place, going on coach trips to Devon and all that team building malarkey. Need to get a grip.

Isn’t helpful especially in this topic? What does that mean?
As in, it’s not helpful because this is a topic in which people want to argue for sacking the manager and pointing out that the club (despite some very poor performances) are still at the right end of the table doesn’t support that one perspective?
Surely on a forum in which views and opinions are meant to be shared and discussed (ideally with some respect to opposing ideas) it’s entirely helpful to discuss that we are well positioned in the league despite our lacklustre performances at times, and therefore there’s still room for optimism and it doesn’t all need to be doom and gloom. 
 
I realise now why I took a week off, I’m just going to stick to matchday threads I think.

OK, how about "we're one place off top spot"?

Bolton have to play those games in a condensed timeframe, which could just as easily see them drop points and suffer fatigue and injuries.
It could also transpire that they win their games in hand and overtake us in the table.
None of that is decided yet, however as it stands, we are currently second in the table, there’s nothing wrong with observing that any more than there is with people’s observations about the recent performances not being good enough. 
 
The polarised views of “this or that” on the forum are such a slog to read through.
We are second in the league, and we could be performing better, both things are true. Thankfully, despite dropping points from a winning position yesterday, we’ve got plenty of other games to pick up points. It’s not pretty, it’s a slog at times for sure, but there’s as much room for optimism as there is pessimism as far as I’m concerned, games to play, points to be won, players to return from injury. I’ll just keep rolling with it until the end of the season and see where we are then. 

Not great, I would have gone 433 today, but thats easy for me to say, positives, we are still 2nd, no game is easy especially against teams fighting off relegation at this stage of the season,  still remaining positive and 15 games left, there will be ups and downs, still believe we have enough to go up, hope we get Wag and Wash back soon, as we need more forward options over the reminder of the season, on to Exeter now, then big games coming up against  Stevenage and Barnsley, looking forward to seeing how  the end of the season pans out. Once A Ram Always A Ram.

Good idea. And an hour before the game kicks off. By the time I’ve read all the gloom about the wrong team having been picked, I presume it’s just a matter of time before we lose the game. Strangely, it hasn’t been turning out that way for some reason😎
 

Have you seen match threads? Some of the comments on there are as rational as a toddler fuelled on blue Smarties. 

I can't believe that you can't believe the sentiment on here. I have been on this forum for a few years now and in the last couple of years, the levels of sympathy and patience have nose dived.
Maybe partly due to the administration and the farce that followed etc.
But it really has become toxic in places.

Just listened to the Gaffers post match interview. Really honest and thoughtful. He clearly cares for his players and loves the Club. Well done Paul and thanks for all you are doing to get promotion despite the wrist slashers constant carping and sniping, mainly from Sunday league arm chair experts.
