It probably won't happen but would love to see Fernando Alonso win the Monaco Grand Prix instead of the boring Red Bull Team with K**B Head Horner and Mardy Boy Verstappen who throws his dummy out the pram when he doesn't win. Can only see Hamilton finishing about 6th/7th.

How long was our run of winless games under Jewell?
I think it was in the forties.

Sorry but I find that a bit unfair he came in with players he had not bought. If next season we are in the same position with players he has bought then I can make a judgement on Warne.

I take it you weren't a Tommy Docherty fan Dethron? Must admit the man was a disaster sold our biggest assets like Gemmill to Forest, Rioch and Todd and just bought garbage to replace them.

You want worse Derby managers than those 10?
Ok mate you name yours.

Ah, come on. Davies was the last manager to get us promoted to the Premier League, and when he got there found out a) he didn't have the squad or the tactics to compete and b) there wasn't any money to buy better players.
Yes we were awful that year, and yes Davies didn't exactly cover himself in glory with some of the things he said when he left.
But he isn't a worse Derby manager than Nigel Pearson.
Davies was a terrible manager just moaned and moaned was always stirring trouble and he bought Claude Davies, Eddie Lewis, Robert Earnshaw say no more.

I wouldn't have Phil Brown in this. Similarly, Paul Clement - we were 5th in the league when he was removed.
Sorry Archie but Brown was a disaster can you remember 3-1 defeat to Colchester in the FA Cup after the match Radio Derby interviewed him and a number of fans told him to f*** Off out the club on the Monday he was sacked. Clement's football was boring football.

As a neutral Spurs seemed to be a club who is in such a mess. I see that the Feyenoord manager Arne Slot has turned down the opportunity to manage them. Maybe one manager who might be an interesting fit is Brendan Rodgers I thought he did well at Leicester up until this season. If I was Vincent Company I would stay at Burnley.

That's nothing - What's Love Got To Do With It was first recorded by Bucks Fizz!
And I also believe it was offered to Cliff Richard first but he turned it down. Would love to know what the Bucks Fizz song would have sounded.

I thought it was the Heaven 17 boys that revived her career. Where does David Bowie fit in to the story?
They did but Bowie was the person who helped her first.

Sorry, I see it now.
You were making a weak joke, rather than contributing in a meaningful way to the thread.
Morning Rev I went to see Tina Turner The Musical in London in 2019 and not only told you the story of her awful marriage to that monster but how she came through that to become a bigger superstar. The show was brilliant and highly recommended if you like musicals.

I'm sure you know this already, but it was Bowie who bought her back into public attention after her divorce, in which she was left with basically a stage name and nothing else, and she had to fight Ike for that!
Private Dancer was gifted her by Mark Knofler, and Jeff Beck played lead guitar on the track, all down to Bowie bringing her back into the public consciousness.
Yes your so right I think they had a relationship for a short time. But I do know they were great friends as well.

What a life she lived.
Survived the most awful years of abuse, to re-emerge as the most powerful, fierce woman on the planet for a time.
What a woman, what a voice, what an Icon.
You are so right Rev she was an amazing performer. She will be in heaven partying with the likes of Freddie, Bowie, Whitney etc. Condolences to her husband and family.

Mozza the only reason I didn't put Freddie on favourite male artists was because he was part of a group Queen, my choices were because they are basically male solo artists supported by musicians. Bowie is my favourite artist but without doubt Freddie was the best frontman. Loved Karen Carpenter and Barbra Streisand. You have a great choice in music.

I went to see Bob Marley the musical Get Up Stand Up and this song just brought the house down. Listening to Bob Marley's greatest hits on vinyl.
