On this planet, we have good and bad people of all nationalities, skin colour, and genders.

Do not let outlets like the Daily Mail or GB News let you believe otherwise, distracting the story away from 3 innocent lives being taken yesterday.

Not only are they 3 innocent lives, it's a city where many on this forum live and may have connections to those that sadly lost their lives.

    That's the real story here.

This is not the platform to bring attention to any of the race baiting content freely accessible on other platforms, or to score points against those of you that like to lock horns derailing topics in this particular board.

3 innocent lives were taken yesterday.

Well said David I live in Nottingham and it has brought devastation to the city. I just feel so sad for those 2 young students who had there life ahead of them taken so tragically plus the caretake at the school as well my condolences to there family and friends.

I wanted to watch that but had to turn it off after 10 minutes.

Too many memories of what it did to my father in law a few years ago. In hindsight, he was "lucky" because we were told he might have 2-3 years to live but then this horrible condition robbed him of his ability to walk, move, speak and then finally breathe within 3 months from diagnosis. The family couldn't make adaptations to the house fast enough for them to be of any use.

This must have done some real good in terms of awareness and fund raising for research, though.

Wolfie I'm really sorry to hear of what happened to your Father In Law. My Uncle had the same condition but died within a year.

Me Dad worked at BR so we had free rail passes. He didn't drive until I was 14 so all my childhood holidays were on the train to Skeggy or North Wales. We went to Dawlish once and Burnham on sea once as well but that must have been hard work for mum and dad with changing trains etc with 4 kids.

You could get straight through from Utch to Skeggy and Rhyl on special holiday trains in the 70's. It was a bit like the Ramaway trains of the same era only more violent with families falling out with each other!

Been to Dawlish a few times lovely place.

It won’t quite be for everyone, but really loved Gallows Pole on BBC2 last night. Directed by Shane Meadows and I think has a lot of his tropes but set in a period drama rather

All three episodes are on iplayer. If you are familiar with the book I think it serves as a prequel rather than a direct dramatisation of the book

Recorded it last night but looks good anything directed by Shane Meadows interest me.

    Best 5, not fave 5:

    1. Schumacher, 2. Prost, 3. Senna, 4. Alonso 5. Hamilton.

Stewart and Lauder are just ahead of my time but I remember the end of the prost senna days in the early 90s.

    Favourite 5:

    1. Mansel, 2. Senna, 3. Mark Webber, 4. Mika Hakkonen 5. Montoya

My favourite 5 would be similar to yours. 1. Mansell. 2. Hamilton. 3. Senna. 4. Gilles Villeneuve. 5. Jenson Button.

Finished it last night. Gets a bit silly with the plotlines towards the end as if they were seeing how many more they could cram in but still watchable.

I've just been watching it on BBC1 not IPLAYER so will just have to wait a few weeks to see the end.

Through chance and misfortune someone will get one off them. On pure merit it's hard to see anyone overhauling them.

I still suspect Aston Martin will fall away a bit in the development race, but I expect Ferrari and Merc to improve but still be behind the red bull as it develops.

I also suspect (Monaco brain fart aside) Perez to be a bit better equipped to handle the red bull upgrades this season than the last couple where he just couldn't handle the later versions of the car on the limit the way max could. But we'll see on that one.

If I were a bookie I'd probably pay out now on the max wdc and red bull WCC.

But, the world of Motorsport doesn't end with F1.

Sorry RadioactiveWaste it does with me no interest in any other car or bike formula's/ superbikes etc.

  8. Who do you want to win today's league 1 play off Barnsley or Sheffield Wednesday? I'd rather see Wednesday up so we don't have to play them next season. I will laugh if it goes to penalties again. Every play off match settled on penalties I don't think that's happened before.

  9. I really hope I never see him managing another football club in England. Maybe USA soccer or god help us he becomes a pundit. As a manager I would rate him about 2/10. Been a failure at every club he has been at I noticed yesterday he tried to put all the blame on the Chelsea players I know the haven't be great but come on Lampard take some responsibility whilst you have been there this season. 🤬

Actually, BD didn't buy Earnmore. Fans were up in arms at the lack of inward movement of players and the board decided they had to do something so they went out and bought Earnmore for £3M. BD was livid at the board going behind his back and, basically, infringing on his turf. That was the reason BD was so reluctant to give the lad game time.

If Davies didn't rate Earnshaw so much why did he buy him for Forest? Where he was quite successfully for them.

  11. Yes without a doubt, they remind me of Wimbledon play to there strengths. Not the prettiest football I've seen but I can see them giving some clubs problems at there home ground. I must admit I was really concerned when there captain Tom Lockyer collapsed on the pitch happy to hear that he was ok. Also happy for Rob Edwards there manager who had a loan spell with us and of course Mick Harford.
