Lucky to have played an average side, a side any better would've beat us with ease today. We've been poor for a few weeks now and luckily for us it's been when we're playing poor sides. The midfield just doesn't work in my opinion.

Similarly with James Berry, he's destined for bigger & better things.  The lad can play

I went to the game, Conn- Clarke was comfortably the best player on the pitch and took his goal well after a slick passing move. Sounds like there's interest in him from the Championship including Swansea though. Dobra on the other hand was pants, was fortunate to get away with a mistake that led to a disallowed goal, got booked and was subbed after  contributing little for 70 mins. He might be good on occasions but is very inconsistent imo

Struggle to see why anyone would be against this as a loan. Smith has proven himself over many years as a decent player at this level. He might be aging, but that really isn’t relevant unless we buy him - an an ideal world, he joins us for 6 months, helps us get promoted, and then we ditch him (harsh as it sounds) since he’s no longer good enough for the Championship.
No brainer for me if he’s available, obviously a player Warne personally wants given their time together at Rotherham. Not as naturally talented as John-Jules of course, but I think he’d offer us a lot more reliable competition up front.

AJs chin is absolutely fine, he ate Wlads biggest shot and got up, took clean shots from Usyk and kept standing who is an underrated puncher. Other heavyweights that sparred Usyk said he had them hurt and he punches way harder than people realise, he's just very smart in varying his punch power during fights. AJ got caught with a temple shot against Ruiz and that is much harder to recover from if you get your equilibrium taken. Took Whyte's biggest left hook and recovered plus many more cleans shots in his numerous world title defences. Fury got hard dropped early in his career by an unknown and Steve Cunningham who was a cruiserweight. Which HW chin do you put above AJs?
Personally I think Ngannou fought well but we saw a classic Fury performance of looking crap against lower skilled fighters, done it his whole career. Ngannou moved in straight lines and punched with Fury, if AJ uses his feint catch counter it'll be a brutal KO.
I don't see it comparable to the Bivol situation, I consider myself to follow the sport closely for many years now and I had Bivol to beat Canelo. Felt like Canelo had been cherrypicking a bit at the higher weights eg Kovalev who was way past his best. Bivol was a prime technical operator with elite skill level and a bigger frame.

His 21/22 season he had the following (stats per 90):
    0.43 goals
6.37 aerial duels won (league highest)
5.85 touches in the box (98th percentile)
Also, won possession 43 times in the final third, which was a league high.
In 22/23, he also had 0.52 goals (0.43xG) per 90 which was near the top of the league.
He'll add a different dynamic in our attack, win us aerial duels up top and get on the end of crosses. It'd be a good signing.

Carries the ball exceptionally well. Was top of this chart by a long way last season too.
Decent output as well. I think Charlton fans are salty because they're losing him.
