Chanting at bewildered Japanese tourists at 11 am and a 15 deep crush at the bar by midday ain't for me.

    To each his own though.

Everything crossed for three points this afternoon.

London away games are my favourite few games of the season due to Covent Garden trips. The atmosphere is generally very light hearted, with the bewildered tourists either joining in or taking photos. Always the odd fool who would rather throw his £7 pint in the air, rather than drink it but that happens anywhere. The doormen and police generally keep it in check and then you get a free escort to wherever we are playing. I know lots who drink and eat on the fringes of the gathering and just enjoy the atmosphere at a slight distance

  2. I’m just hoping that Reading take their feet off the gas as soon as they are mathematically safe, although I doubt Mr Ince will allow them to. I would hate to be relegated by more than 21 points ( which I feel extremely unlikely) because people will just say the punishment was worthless. I actually feel the points plus all the sanctions were more akin to a total of -40 points over the season but the printed table won’t show that. From a selfish point of view I hope we play with a nothing to lose attitude, almost like a cup final against far better opponents. I have been present at far too many relegation games for my liking over the years and remember all sadly. I can’t go on Monday, so hopefully we can drag out the inevitable for a little longer ?

Two blocks not opened yet though.

Oh, the fibbing little tinker, I’ve not felt so deceived by a salesperson, since I rushed down to DFS to buy a sofa in the sales before it ended.

Plange isn't doing much up there... I'd give Cybulski 45mins. See what he can do.

Plange downed tools the moment he signed for a premier league side. Don’t blame the lad  but he has zero interest in Derby County now. He should have been dropped ages ago and anyone else given a go who might be with us in the future

  5. After his first attempt to buy Derby and the fact he seemingly can’t afford the ground and either can’t afford or isn’t prepared to pay enough for the 15 points to be avoided. I suspect 1 of 2 things will happen. Firstly, the EFL will refuse ( correctly) to apply the minus 15 points this season and he will walk away having basked in his 15 mins of fame, or. EFL do agree to apply the 15 points this year and MA swoops in and buys the club and ground. Either way I would be shocked if he ever ends up being the owner of DCFC

And more agreeable on the rent of stadium than new owners or owner that can pay off over time and perhaps they might say if we buy pp then you can pay off tax of what tickets get sold percentage goes off and you get percentage to put  back into pp.

  7. Can you repost this b4 the next game but DM it to Luke Plange please. I can’t believe how much he has regressed since his move and loan back. I don’t blame him btw, he must think of his own future and what the consequences could be of running himself into the ground for Derby. Ebosele is also a shadow of the player from a couple of months ago. Although I suspect fatigue and or little niggles may be the cause of his sporadic form now

  8. Unfortunately Derby without pride park would be a non starter with potential investor I suspect.  People banging on about renting Burton are delusional imho. If we survive and drop into league 1. I suspect we would have around 23 K per match even on -15 and even higher if we do well at PP.  With the potential to average much higher with success in following years. If we lose PP we will be on @5-7 K at Burton with no potential for growth thus a massive drop in attendance fees and sponsorship. I am increasingly worried that MM has to make money on PP. No idea if it’s a problem with personal wealth or the worry of a potential fraud investigation by HMRC. My business is minute in comparison but I know if I buy an asset for 80 million ( even though I have stated all along that was a massively over valued price) I would have offset tax against the purchase and interest on the loan. If I then give it away for peanuts or even nothing, the taxman will want to investigate. Especially at a time when commercial and domestic properties are increasing by 14% per annum currently. I can’t see an happy ending, especially if it is true Q have had no contact with MA for 2 months. IF that’s true, they are at best inept and at worst  a bunch of carpetbaggers

I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing.

Socrates (the Greek, not the one who played for Brazil)

But then again very people do know anything and if knowing that you know nothing makes you wise,  what does thinking you know something, when you really don’t, make you!!

Not that wise really. If he knows 1 thing then he obviously can’t by definition, know nothing   .

Derby have passed the sealed bids deadline.

Next step is to check the bids, do any match the amounts the administrators are looking for.

After that I'm guessing the administrators can reveal the bids to the bidders and ask if the bidders would like to outbid the highest bid made.

If the highest bid made is acceptable, then the administrators can take that.

If the bids failed to meet the administrators target, then they can return to the bidders and ask for more.

Obviously the process takes a while.

All eyes seen to be on Ashley but is his bid the highest, and in this situation the administrators are keen to get the most that they can for the creditors.

The administrators will communicate the bids to the creditors after working out how much to offer each, to see if the creditors will accept the bid.

These are all my assumptions on the process.

Not good assumptions. If they are sealed bids. The others can’t then raise theirs otherwise no point in asking for a sealed bid.

Not that I have a long memory or anything but am still waiting for this article to appear on the Sky News website which a nameless poster on here said he heard on the TV before going to the Peterborough game last week stating that the PB would be announced.

I didn’t say web site I said sky news. I didn’t say anything about a PB either. Simply repeated the info that the journo said that 2 bids were in prior to the deadline.
