On the plus side, I'm putting together a credible bid to buy Derby County.

I don't have any actual money. I don't have any experience in running a sports team, or in fact any business. I don't have a financial backer, but I hope that by having a deal to buy a business that makes massive losses every year, I will attact some financial muscle.

I am willing to create a tiktok account to engauge with fans.

    I don't have a website.

I expect to be on Talksport tomorrow morning explaining how I am going to buy the right players no matter the cost and bring forward a new golden age.

I do not intend to retain the managerial services of Mr Rooney or the current coaching staff.

The scariest thing is Morris will probably take you seriously

I am struggling to think of any local suppliers that would have been supplying pride park in a pandemic, jobs normally go but outstanding wages are protected as preferential creditors, the main people to get screwed will be HMRC for PAYE, NI and VAT who will take a haircut. Transfer fees owed and players wages will have to paid in full if the club wanted to play in the league.

Debts with security i.e. the ground cannot be touched by the administrator as they are not the property of the club but the property of the charge holder,

I cannot see MM putting the club into administration, he would be better hiding it up and pocketing whatever he could raise.

HMRC always get first dibs. But anyone who is owed money will lose the vast majority of it. We are massively in debt so there is no credit to be shared out. It’s getting to the stage where I don’t care anymore. Can’t believe I’m saying that after 50 odd years as a fan. I feel totally indifferent to the club atm but developing a deeper loathing of Morris by the day.

Does anyone know for certain, if we receive a points deduction. Will it  be next season starting on minus or capital be added retrospectively ?

    Can it be added retrospectively

My understanding is that the EFL has already stated their appeal is in relation to the second charge i.e. the format in which the accounts were submitted. If they decided to re-visit the issue 're the sale of PP and challenged the actual valuation they would be questioning the competency of a heavyweight company with plenty of financial clout to bounce them into then out of court. As stupid and myopic as the EFL are, I doubt even they would consider going down this route - we've already witnessed the furore their last legal bill caused amongst the majority of the member clubs of the Football League.

I don’t expect they will either I just suggested they could. Certain owners of other EFL clubs, may even finance it. But doubt that too. When the arbitrators of the rules are the rule makers themselves, I just don’t think we can be certain it won’t happen

We have to be safe on the first charge, independent valuation, they would sue the a off them if they hinted at a lack of professionalism.

Not true. They can easily appoint their own valuation team and act on their findings if they differ. The true value is the ground it sits on. Who would buy a 2 nd hand football ground???? It’s only worth for a potential buyer is to knock it down and construct retail/offices or flats. The first 2 have zero demand, so flats it is. Probably around 5-10 million quid tops

We’ve barley paid the players wages in the last 2 months, which indicates a cash flow problem. We have no new income that we know of (including that we’d normally have from match days etc etc).
So Apart from off loading a couple of players, what makes people think we are going to add to the squad anD increase the wage bill, the one that we can already barley afford. Unless I am missing something there is nothing financially telling me we are going to bring anyone in.

Had a rye smile at this post
