So many of you getting into a panic just because there isn’t a statement on the DCFC website yet lol.

We sold him in the January before admin. Rooney didn't want him so got rid. The fee was got for him was the difference between going in to admin when we did, or at the start of September.
 
His record at youth level showed exactly why he needed time to adjust at first team level. Even when stepping up to the U18s and then the U23s he needed time to adjust to the increased physicality.

He also showed nothing to suggest he would make it in men’s football.
You win some, you lose some.

I must admit, I breathe a huge sigh of relief when that’s the case!!

That’s a shame . Whitaker now reminds me of a young Patrick Bamford , when he was banging goals in from all angles . ( still not forgiven McLaren for only giving Patrick 2 minutes V QPR in the Play-Off final , when Dunne had Martin in his pocket).

Just guesses but:
1) He’s not been registered yet with the FA or EFL so can’t actually play yet.
2) They want to call a press conference which is best done on a working day.
3) Maximise news cycle which means Monday

We just played 90 minutes football today - I can’t remember us once having a player make a run in behind and us trying to play that pass to that player (successful or not). It makes it easier for opposition defences if they know a striker isn’t running in behind us.

Be disappointing if Smith is our striking option.
Been linked with quite a few from L1 or L2 who offer potential and we get a past it 32 year old who to me is the same as Collins.
Could see today we are desperate for that number 10. It’s not Sibs, it’s not Bird and it’s not John Joules.

Can’t help but be uninspired by him. Wish I was. 

My friend who is on the inside at Charlton (ex Board) says the deal has been done and subject to him passing his medical at Derby he will sign today - apparently he’s at Moor Farm today and came up here last night

CBT - almost done 
- Langstaff is the top striker target as is Devante Cole 
- wide players - two youngsters from Brentford  , dobra and one from Mansfield - 
CM targets are Moxon , Dobson at charlton and loan deal for a guy at Sheffield United 

I thought the Knight money went on paying the Jozwiak balance.
We settled the dispute with Poznan in August, around the time of Knights transfer.
