Some people! Has the constant release of updates from the club in the past weeks not been enough for you!

There has been loads of information released to keep the fan base updated. They told us the away kit was out, there was the email about the away kit being available, our second kit, that we wear away was released, and all the other updates…I mean, look, I’m not going to name all of the updates but I think we can all agree that there have been a lot of them, such as the email about the away kit being released for example.

I’m tired of the constant stream of information if I am totally honest. I want to concentrate on the quality brand of football that Rooney is inspiring in us if I am totally honest.

I became disillusioned with the professional game almost 20 years ago now.  For me it was spoilt by greed and the increasing financial domination of the so-called big six.  I follow the Rams now out of habit more than anything else. The best example I can give you of why I became disillusioned is a recent one.  It can be defined by two words.
    Lionel Messi.
Cries crocodile tears at a press conference because his current club can't afford to pay him 50 squillion euros a year to add to his already vast fortune which must be bigger than a third world debt. He he really wanted to play then he could afford to do so for nothing for the rest of his career.
I had a DCFC season ticket from the early sixties in the days of Tim Ward up to 2006 when I retired.  I stopped buying a ST then and never had one since, being unable to justify the silly amount it now costs.
Other team - well I've watched Belper Town for a long time now and have a Concessionary Season Ticket for the princely sum of £65 a year, full price being is a bit more.  For that I get a friendly club where they seemingly know everyone by their first name, a really good standard of football, a pleasant social club and some of the best match food available anywhere at VERY cheap prices.
If Belper are playing too far away for me to travel, I go the Matlock Town, Alfreton Town, Heanor Town or Mickleover Sports.
I enjoy my football now far more then I ever did when I was watching the Rams, especially latterly.

as i have said many times, look what he has done to Kalvin Phillips. average championship player couple of years ago, now staring for England at a European Championship. Amazing what a good manager can do.

Starting line up on Saturday? Inexperienced? Only 1 player had less than 50 first first team appearances (although I could be wrong on Bird). I’d say we had more experience at Championship level and above than Peterborough!

Almost all of our starting 11 have been playing in the Championship the last two seasons at least. The problem is the squad depth.
Our squad is bad but not as bad as some on here are saying. It's certainly better than 1 win in 20.

...because his tactics and team selections lead to us scoring fewer goals than we should which places an inordinate amount of pressure on us not to concede; the more pressure we're under the more likely we are to make mistakes, pressure which often seems compounded by his game management.
Of course you could argue that we are scoring exactly as many goals as we should given our current squad, and that last season's low goals tally was purely down to individual players not performing (I'd half agree). As you say though, new season, new start.
Moving Morrison out wide accommodate Lawrence at no. 10 isn't the sort of decision that makes me feel confident he's going to get the most out of what limited options he has available. Maybe he'll learn from that, maybe he won't.
If we want to finish mid table this season we need more draws (or preferably more wins!), to get more draws we're going to need to score more goals because we've seen time and again that we're incapable of holding onto 1-0s. To score more goals we're going to need to be more open, which risks us taking a few hammerings and having a terrible GD, but points on the board are surely more important?
Whether we lose a match 4-0, or we lose a match 2-1 in injury time the points on board are the same. If we throw away a 2 goal lead in injury time we still pick up a point. If we continue only scoring 1 goal in matches (which is the likely outcome if we keep being so cautious in the first half of games) we're probably going to continue walking away with 0 points.
Albeit in exceptional circumstances, look at the Sheff Weds game on the final day of last season. We were forced to attack at the cost of defending and we conceded 3, but the way we set up allowed the much maligned Waghorn to have starring role, allowed Patrick Roberts to finally show what he's all about after months of nothing, and we had the 'fraud' Jozwiak winning the penalty that (kind of) kept us up.
If we'd have approached that game the way we approached many others we'd not have scored those 3 goals, but in all likelihood we would still have conceded 2 or 3, and we'd have been relegated.

Nothing to lose with WR not in charge.
Let’s say an agreement is reached between him and MM, which isn’t detrimental financially. I can’t see anything but positive things with someone else taking the reins.

My interest in football waned many years ago. Hardly ever watch a match if it doesn’t involve Derby. Can’t even get up for England international games anymore. Football has been ruined by money. I wouldn’t support any other team.

It’s more than just the odd few incidents though isn’t it.
ANY other manager would’ve been sacked or walked by now with his record.

He’s learning on the job at the expense of DCFC.

were there 2 massive mess ups in the previous 18 games that has led to 1 solitary victory... He deserves to be sacked for a consistent run of absolutely abysmal results and terrible football.

I think you're underplaying the importance of a manager. Look what Leeds's manager did with a bunch of Championship players. When it's 1 or 2 players who aren't quite right you could put it down to the individuals issues, but if it's pretty much the whole squad you have to question other things.
Also I could be wrong but I don't think Byrne and Marshall are that close for it to be affecting Byrne's performance.

I don't think you are getting my point. I agree they are individual mistakes. But I am saying that individual mistakes happen more often in an environment that is conducive to mistakes. My point is that, over time, the amount of mistakes that people make comes down to their mental state, which is heavily influenced by how they are managed.
For every goal in every game you can point to a mistake which caused the goal. From that point of view every defeat is down to individual mistakes. But if players on one team (wearing white and black) keep making more mistakes than their opponents then that is a management issue.

There's a chance you can put some responsibility on Rooney for Jozwiak not reacting quickly enough - perhaps he wasn't prepared enough when coming on?
But Forsyth ducking under the ball, Byrne giving his man too much space, Shinnie/Forsyth trying to head the same ball, Davies coming out to head Bird's ball, Davies not getting back into position quick enough, and Byrne forgetting how to kick a ball are all individual mistakes and 100% down to those players involved.

    I don't think that's true...
More reasonable is that those who think he isn't up to the job know they will get drowned out with comments of 'give him a chance', 'game hasn't kicked off yet and you're moaning' etc. By 2.15, most were saying we were hanging on..

He has a really really awful record, yet lots of people are still giving him a pass, due to nothing more than the fact the club is in a mess and he's still here. My feeling is that's exactly why we need an experienced head.
