Sorry, you’re going to have to narrow it down a bit.

Nothing to add to be honest, expect 1 definitely potentially 2 more bodies in. In the 22-28 range. If Cash goes we’ll 100% get a replacement as he’ll have championship offers

For 3m would we not be better going for the likes of Sam Nombe over JCH. Younger, more potential and just as dangerous.
I dont see the point in singing JCH if hes going for any more than 1m because its money lost at the end

I would be gutted to lose Cashin, a true Derby academy graduate who genuinely seems to love the club, and also a "proper" footballler.
I see the bigger picture but it would still be a huge shame

Just hoping the new signings and Bird coming back from injury doesn’t stifle his progress. Obviously he has to earn the right to be in the team but at the minute he’s earned the shirt and needs to know it’s his whilst he’s playing as he is.

Would say today was right up there with that performance v Fulham in the relegation season.

Rooney was fantastic last week, and Warne said he was “pretty faultless” after the first 20 mins. I don’t think we should be short term replacing our own youngsters when they have a chance to play and learn.

I received a phone call an hour before the match, telling me a much loved Uncle had passed away.
Felt like I'd been punched in the gut, and went upstairs to have a quiet moment.
Woke up at 3.30, flipped the radio on to hear it was 1-1, tolerated Dawes for a minute or two, then flew to Belgium to watch the rest of the game.
3 Derby goals in my first 10 minutes of watching was the kind of medicine I needed.
    Thanks Waggy, and Cashin.

Rooney came up against the best winger in the league and got done probably twice properly. He was one of the best players after Thommo, Waggy, Cash and Wash

Great win, didn't see it coming. We were all at sea for the first 20 but the goal really woke us up and we didn't look back from there on in. I've been critical of Smith and Hourihane but from 20 mins onwards they were good - really good. Thommo was everywhere. Waghorn doesn't need any more praise, performance spoke for itself. The controlled period after half time was nice to see too, settled things down for 20 after the break and allowed us to make subs whilst being in total control of the game. A few set piece scares but expected when leading a good Peterborough side at home.
On Rooney - had a tough day at the office but I doubt he'll come up against many better left wingers in this division. Hopefully takes plenty away from today and uses it to improve. No need to panic at RB.
Still loads of room for improvement but got to be happy with that.

We didn’t get lucky. Thoroughly deserved win. Yes Rooney had his hands full and got done a few times but getting past the defender is only half the job. Incidentally, I thought Rooney, like pretty much the whole team, had a good game. Thompson was MOTM for me which is saying something considering Waggy got a hat trick.

Watching replays, Rooney is playing everyone on there. Probably a tired mind at the end, but it will do him good to get a full match under his belt.
2-4 final score. Well done Derby and especially Waghorn!

Listening to Radio Derby. Sounds as if we're seeing the game out well now. And often looking dangerous. After a bad start, it's ended up being a fantastic afternoon for the team. Let's hope we can build on it and this is the start of something.
Plus lovely to hear Malcolm Christie do the punditry.

Thommo Man of the match last week and just pipped to it by Waghorn this week due to the goals. Got to keep him in the team, he’s taken his chance and ran with it, which I know a few of us were hoping for in the summer.

Needs to carry on learning and learning when 4-1 up is the best option rather than knocking his confidence and dragging him off.

Watching Waggy making time to speak with both of the new lads when he could have been milking the crowd reaction says everything you need to know about his position in the squad. What a man!

If Fornah is as good as we hope, we. could see this sort of attacking performance without the 'basketball' openness & erratic defending

Thompson really impressing me again, there’s a composure and almost subtle swagger (oxymoron I know!) to his play.

Hourihane / Fornah / Thompson has a much better balance I think.

Without turning this into a Sibley debate in the wrong thread. He barely played in an attacking position last season, and still chipped in with a couple of goals.
Sibley under Rooney was scapegoated badly. When we needed a threat, he still wasn't picked. Remember him coming on to win the game against Peterborough after Lawrence got sent off? Yeah, then he started the next game but was subbed off at half time for no apparent reason. He was forced into a position of having to score or assist to even get on the pitch, and frankly it was ridiculous.
    Play the kid.
