I once read a short piece that summed up my experience of the difference between introverts (like me) and extroverts:
Introverts find being around people exhausting and need alone time to mentally recharge, where as it's the opposite for extroverts.

Saying to someone that you are a better supporter is the most crass thing you can say, other than telling them to go support forest.

I think we need more than just a goal scorer. In the centre back positions we're hardly looking that good even with the addition of the trialists and I don't love our midfield either. In the middle we lack both creativity and a solid base that gives us real problems. During the game against both Utd and Salford when they got onto our backline they looked like they struggled to deal with the pace and movement of both those teams. I don't think that's particularly promising.

I think the fullback areas are the strongest we have and I like Marshall too but not a fan of Roos. But basically fine in those areas i think.

On the wings we're not looking fantastic. Lawrence is fine but he's not enough. Aluko did look alright against Salford and he'll be a solid ball carrier but not sure how many goals/assists he'll get for us over the course of a season. I'd still continue looking for a winger.

Getting that striker is a big problem and there aren't many goal scorers around who can do 20 goals a season at this level. But we do need more than just CKR and Stretton that's for sure. Personally, I think the big problem is that we still don't seem to be creating that many clear chances from open play. Even against Salford we only had 2 clear and easy opportunities where we should have scored (Baldock and Aluko) and there was little to write home about against Man Utd. I think that's our biggest problem atm and our lack of defensive solidity.

Then you've got those who'll defend absolutely anything that goes on at the club; whether that is the owner leading us to to this nightmare, a manager whose unprofessional behaviour has not only caused the club major embarrassment but led him to injuring one of our few available players for up to 3 months and our club not even letting us buy tickets for our first game of the season that's only a week and a half half away.

Pointing out that we're an absolute shambles  and some of us are absolutely ducking sick of it isn't twisting the knife, it's expressing an understandable frustration at the hierarchy of the club in relation to its off and on the field conduct and competence. Hopefully, we can find a suitable buyer quickly and they can clean house from top to bottom.

I think going into 50/50's as a manager when we've got 14 players is reckless  and it's caused further harm to our already threadbare squad. That's an opinion and it's making precisely NOTHING up. Yes, I have an absolute blood lust to see Derby county in the worst possible state.... that's exactly why I spend what little money I have watching us because I love moaning and seeing us lose there can't possibly be any other reason.....

You moan about sticking to facts yet speculate baselessly about the reasoning for why I'm posting as I am so stop being such a hypocrite please.

I take your point on 'launched', I'd say 'crocked' is just a descriptive term to use when someone has injured someone else for a significant period of time which Rooney has.

I know I seem to be repeating myself as do others but how is 1 win in 16 not awful? 7 points from 45 were earned that led us as close as you can be to being relegated. I'm kind of sick of hearing 'well we survived' as an argument for how Rooney has done a 'good job' when under his leadership we went on what must have been the worst run since our 07/08 campaign.

What he said about dignity and pride after the Salford game, and what he's done just 12 hours later IMO deserves being sniped at.
The guys an idiot and should be knowhere near our sinking ship. We need people bucketing water out not standing there with a hosepipe topping the water levels up.

Don't have enough players in a training session so then you launch into a 50/50 that means you have one less. If Knight had trodden on a ball fair play but that's not what happened, he got crocked by his own manager in a 50/50... maybe if you have so few players you take extra care in training and don't go into a 50/50?

The other point is the suggestion that he pulled us out of an impossible situation, bottom of the table to a remarkable safety ? We were two points off the bottom 3 with 35 games to go. We also came just above a team with a 6 point deduction. In terms of Wazza’s record, really is a case of not being able to polish a ?…

John Percy who wrote the story is a well regarded journalist that many trust. Tbh, for Derby county he's probably the best source we actually have. Do you think Rooney should be putting himself in a position where he could be injuring one of our few assets? Do you really think he can't recognise a 50/50 when it presents itself? Yeah, I'm sure Knight is to blame for his own injury and the manager shouldn't be level headed and realise what he should or shouldn't be doing on the training pitch...

I think we're unlikely to see eye to eye so I'll leave it here.

Interesting to see a decent number of you say that you don't really have a problem with the manager of your club getting pi55ed up to the point where he falls asleep in the hotel room of a group of young woman (and gets subsequently snapped doing so) just a few hours after saying he was looking to bring some "dignity and pride" back to the club.
I was expecting more to have a problem with it considering our recent history with staff members getting drunk.
Is it now a problem for Wayne and Coleen? Yes, but let's not pretend this isn't a problem for us, too.
Once again we are having our name dragged through the mud. When is this going to stop happening?
Does he deserve to get the boot for this? Probably not. He deserves to get the boot for nearly getting us relegated to League One (thanks again, Marlon Pack). But it certainly isn't going to win him any supporters, in my view.

It's not that new I don't think no i.e. not been implemented as of 5 years ago or less. Yes but he hasn't got them and hasn't had any full time coaching experience before he took the reigns here. That does have an impact- the fact we've got someone unqualified and with no full time experience literally learning on the job. That might be suitable for a club lower down the pyramid not in absolute dire straights but it's not suitable for us and it's shown by 2 wins in the last 15.

Don’t blame those fans. Our collective moral barometer and understanding of what constitutes abnormal has been shifted so far, most of us don’t have any grip on reality at all.
Tom Lawrence could lead a seance in the Moor Farm canteen and awaken evil spirits which haunt the entire U18 squad and some fans would say “he’s done nothing wrong/this happens all the time at other clubs/it’s the EFL who have it in for us/I have a mate who’s haunted by demons and he’s alright”
