Since Lionel Pickering, we've had the lot.
We had a seemingly perfect owner, in MM throwing money around and putting some winning teams out. Turned out to be a nightmare.
We had a group of wealthy local fans. Least said about that the better.
We had a consortium of wealthy foreigners backing a group of talented sports adminstrators with stability the watchword. Got nowhere.
We had a no-marks chancer and his buddies who ended up behind bars.
We welcomed them all with optimism. We'll do the same with CK or whoever. We know better than anyone that we're drowning and need anyone to throw us a lifeline.
Kirchner said some offensive things on twitter in his youth? Couldn't give less of a monkeys, I'm not a choosing beggar. I see your non-PC comments and raise you allegations of extortion, arson, drug running, match fixing and brutality down the road, Man U purchased with their own future revenue (never could get my head around that), the shenanigans at leeds over the years from Peter 'fit and proper person' Ridsdale through Ken Bates, the mockery of a sham of the spirit of the game at Watford/Udinese and the least said about the owners of Newcastle and Man City the better. Kirchner might have made homophobic comments, those regimes take an altogether more blood-thirsty approach to the topic.
For what it's worth, I don't think this is over by a long chalk, but CK gets my approval if he does take over and we'll see where we go.

We start again at PPS. Should be a great ride back up and the community still gets the benefit. August kick off at home in National League North? I'm in. 3 season tickets, please.

I think it's a brilliant idea, and needs to happen with urgency.
Desite Quantuma stating months ago that the ground isn't the issue, it seems it is, once again. Quantuma may have a tough task, but they've also made a complete shambles of it so far much to their own benefit, shockingly.
PPS being the epitome of 'community asset', makes perfect sense for the council to own it.
If the alleged buyers are in fact all mouth and no trousers as now seems likely, we would at least have a base to relaunch from. Can't have Derby County anywhere else, really.

You would like to think most people would realise the economic benefits of having a stadium that attracts conservatively 20,000 people into the area 23 times a year. Probably make that 5,000 coming from outside the city of Derby itself.

Semi finalist and finalist in the last two tournaments and you can't see them being contenders. How do you go through life being so unutterably dismal? If you won the lottery you'd moan it wasn't a rollover. Can't be doing with so much Eeyorish misery, so you win only my second ever block.

There has been social media campaigns to see fans on the pitch. Bringing attention to our dire situation.
Going on the pitch tomorrow will only hurt the club, as in the staff, management and players.
Quantuma, EFL, will not have a sleepless night.
We are in desperate times, I understand, feel the frustration and anger.
I have created this topic using my own voice, my own thoughts with no communication from anyone at the club in the hope it keeps some fans off the pitch.
Just one fan, using his own voice asking you all to stop and think.
There has to be better ways in letting our voices be heard without affecting  the team.
So far this season, the one positive we can take is the support for this club, it's been second to none.
There is one man tomorrow that deserves that same level of support, one man that does not deserve to see his remaining games abandoned for crowd trouble.
    Wayne Rooney.
    Come on Derby!

My friend has not long left of his life, He has terminal cancer and has maybe only weeks to live.  He had his first season ticket when he came out of the army in the mid fifties, and has had it every season since, and then when he married in 1963 his wife had one too, they never missed a home match, but then covid came along and they have not been again. We have a mutual friend who lives in the USA he is in the UK this week end and is taking my friend to what is likely to be his last match ever. I'm just hoping if there are any protests it wont affect the match. So please spare a thought or a prayer if your so minded on Saturday. I wont say his name as he hated social media as much as he loved the Rams. So UP THE RAMS  P will be thinking of you.

The Club leaving Pride Park would be a mistake we would rue for the next 20 years.
I have no problem it being leased/rented. Owning the stadium is fairly secondary IMO opinion as long as it is our "home" and we have legal protections over being always able to play the
