You have to make assumptions on recruitment to be able to set expectations in reality.
In worst assumption no doubt a relegation battle, but it is not unreasonable to expect an outside playoff interest if things go really well in recruitment. Look at when the tree humpers got promoted, they went from relegation battlers to playoff winners, to a large extent on the back off a few top quality loans and a decent manager who got the best of what he had.

We’ve got to be ambitious 
every Derby team that ever got promoted was in the past. 
it’s a good place to be a positive mind set.
With an owner that is ambitious and wants success because he’s a fan, and because he’s intimated that there is a Championship investor lined up, I think we will surprise a few.
it all depends on the quality of the signings and how they integrate and settle-in to the squad/area/expectations
im betting on Derby strengthening with top end Championship additions. 
 
I think we’ll do very well indeed, without knowing who these additions will be but since I’m expecting some high quality, I’m going for a top six finish. We’re on an upward curve, the crap is firmly pushed behind us. COYR 😃

I guess coming back from 2-0 down to Oxford and getting promoted ain't for everyone. 

They must have thought this was one of those games in hand they were so worried about.

Never did anything wrong in my opinion and not his fault our central midfield never looked right when both Bird and Connor played together on their own,Scored some very important goals and good luck for the future.

Impossible to say this early. No retained list yet. No transfers. Bare squad. 

Can't imagine Wildsmith would head to Rotherham unless he has limited options as that would be a very odd move. 

If he’s going then personally I’m surprised. But providing we recruit well, I don’t think there’s a reason to lose sleep over him going.

So basically, he is coming as an interpreter. He could also help out if Steve Mac comes back to do any coaching .

Good if this is so. Its not a sentimental business is it. These people are paid a lot of money to do a job and being replaced comes with the territory

I've heard Wildsmith is still in talks, rejected a few offers by us and has some good teams after him

Now I do think we need to improve on Korey for this season, but an attitude problem?! What a load of s****. 

So on May 2nd all good contract offered but then 2 weeks later it was remembered he had a bad attitude a few months back so they withdrew it? 

1. The aim is promotion
2. The hope is promotion
3. The reality is midtable

I genuinely think we might surprise people this coming year.
I think if we recruit well in the forward positions and maintain our defensive consistency, I don't see why we can't finish 12th-16th.

This is the third time I've watched Norwich in as many weeks and they have looked awful each time. How did they get in the playoffs?
