With respect, this ain't the thread for using the word "lucky", regardless of context, and regardless of our personal thoughts towards "The privileged few".
Cancer is a b****** to all classes, and all peoples.I wish him well and should have chosen my words more carefully.
However, after burying a very close relative last week who was fecked about from pillar to post after diagnosis, it grates just more than a little.

I applied and the interview was going swimmingly, until I told them my journey to the ground on matchdays would be via the Brunswick, Neptune and Merlin.

It's a curious fact that over the last 5 matches, the top 5 teams have identical form, W3 D1 L 1, so no-one's made up any ground.
But we've not dropped any of those points v any of this group. 👍🏻

People forget it's not just a football move it's their life too. Still a young lad moving to a nice city, much better night life than Derby and his mates there. Derbys turning into a bigger **** hole year by year, people will blame Warne for not attracting players but I'm sure the city has a big part to play in it too.
I said exactly the same upthread.
Bristol is a million miles away from Derby as a destination.

Has Kevin Hector still got a player registration?

I've been one of Max's critics this season, (but I've been spoiled watching the early 70's team).
Has anyone considered, that as well as almost guaranteed Championship football next season at Bristol City, a young bloke might actually fancy living in a hippy city like Bristol? Lets be honest, leaving the football history aside, as a place to live, Derby or Bristol, I know which I'd chose and it isn't Derby.

Their goal differance is better than Forests now.
Relegated on GD, now that really would be sweet.

Similar circumstances - so far behind after the first innings, forced to follow on, enter Both to play one of the innings of his life before Bob pulled an 8-fer out of the hat. Then in the 4th test (the low-scoring one at Edgbaston), Both's 5-0 spell.
God, what memories.
Its a pity Botham has ended-up a silly old t***.

I just watched the highlights- who was supposed to be marking the player on the back post in the last moments of the game who somehow didn’t score as it looks like dreadful defending
Dunno who he was, but I think hes been watching the highlights video of the Lincoln No. 9.

A come from behind, against the run of play win. So said the BBC reporter.
Against the 3rd bottom team at home.
Got out of jail did we?
We've been ahead v Cheltenham for a grand total of 9 minutes out of 180.
This league is garbage and we're only just above average in it.

King Charles Diagnosed With Cancer
in The Jim Smith Room

I've been ordering my prescriptions on the NHS 'Patient Access' App for years now.
Open the App, select 'medication', tick the box(es) as required for each med. and walk to the pharmacy two days later, jobs a gud'un.
