Poor buggers were on a trip out from a home and the 'carer' had brought them into the wrong film.  They didn't stay after the opening blood all over white leather scene.  Hope they got shifted to the right screening.

    Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

This is a pivotal point in our season. How we react to this defeat will be definitive I feel.

We can still break into the autos if we can put another run together.

Not sure what some people are on with their knee jerk get rid of this or that player.

We can't afford to get rid of anyone.

Yep I had a look to see if they have any injuries, any possible points deductions for previous unpaid wages or anything like that but nothing, it's strange.

Not strange at all, it means punters have seen our form and have put serious wonga down for us to win, (that's how bookmaking works).

I’ve not ruled it out completely GG. I know the timetable well having used it for the past two seasons. Appreciate the post though!

I’m going to leave it to closer to the day as a puff of wind or mild drizzle can disrupt the service and I can’t afford to be stranded.

    Cheers.

The railway cannot leave you stranded, (it's the law). They MUST organise you a taxi to your final destination (or provide overnight accommodation if a taxi is not possible).

Travel on New Year’s Day is a bit of a lottery. I think that will keep some people (myself included) away.

Gutted really because it’s the kind of fixture I bought my season ticket for.

New Years Day should be absolutely fine by train and there can't be any industry action now as is closer than 14 days away.

Loads of trains between Bristol and Derby next Monday, including this one. 👍🏻

The plane thing, I just don't believe, .....

This is not the House of Commons, so be a bit braver and call me a liar!

I do remember being asked to show my boarding pass at the plane door on at least one occasion, but not in the last 20 years, (the automatic checks since 9/11 have done away with the need).

.......and very few flights where a visual check of the BP wasn't demanded on entering the plane (though I have seen people get on without being challenged).

I've probably boarded 300+ flights in the last 20 years.

I honestly cannot remember the last time I was asked to show my boarding pass at the plane door.

The checks in the SS v Wycombe were complete overkill. An absolute shambles and totally unnecessary.

If they continue, I can see there being plenty of gaps next season when regulars move elsewhere.
