I feel so sorry for the older fans of the ‘big6’. They are the ones who love their club, like we do ours, but have been taken over and priced out of the game. I have no wish to join that elite. Give me David Clowes over a rich sheikh any day!

Great trip again yesterday. Thanks to all who made it possible.
Would recommend it to anyone in the region who wants a different routine on match day.
Lots of amiable chat amongst Rams fans, a spot of lunch and a drop off closer to the ground than you’d get by car or train.
The organisers guarantee a home win every time the coach operates (may have made that last bit up but two from two recently!)
Fully endorse this. Great to go to a match again’ on my own’ - though with plenty of minders!
My son had been worried that I was going on a coach full time of football hooligans! He’s always wrong about predicting the score and he was just as wrong about this!
Thanks everyone

Whenever supporting dcfc is stress free we all get restless, start inventing things to worry about anyway.
When did we have a stress free bit? I must have slept through it!

400 minutes to get us over the line.
Scarves and flags ready!
Not only flanges but also scraves or scavers which are interchangeable depending on level of excitement !

Hi Justin. I’d like to book a seat as I think I’ll manage this better than the train. I see the pick-up point is Jct 16 M5. Approximately what time do you get back?
Ignore this as I’ve now booked with you by text to be picked up in Bristol!

Well, that was certainly worth staying awake for! I was fine until after the penalty - then my concentration went and I never quite knew where the ball was! Definitely the best game I’ve seen us play for a long time. I thought everyone played their part and we didn’t need to carry anyone.
I don’t get to many games now, but as I’m staying with my daughter in Loughborough, I’m going to get to the Bolton game. I struggled to get to sleep last night as I was buzzing and at 11.30 my son texted to say he’d booked parking for the Carlisle game so could I sort out tickets!. Getting them is my only contribution these days as he now pays for us all. Let’s hope we’re celebrating on 27th April!

I’m going to this, my first attempt at an evening game since the brain haemorrhage 4 years ago.
if you’re in the west stand could you keep the noise down please? I’m usually barely awake by 8.30 so I’d be grateful if you didn’t wake me up just to watch a game of football.
Thankyou!

Thanks, BuckoBeast, that brought it all back - it’s a much easier listen when you know there’s a happy ending! David Clowes, sounding so sincere in offering us a future . I hope we never take for granted what he did in securing DCFC
