What’s the difference in potential fan bases when they’ve got the two Manchester and Liverpool clubs just down the road?
And Burnley and Blackburn and Blackpool even nearer

It was noted that CK's offer included normal day to day costs which weren't included in the quoted bids for others.
I also seem to recall CK walking away before any bid deadline had been reached, rather than the bid being rejected
Yes, he walked away. His bid wasn’t rejected by the admins

If some of MMs money is used to oil the wheels for the deal to go through and avoid the 15 points I’m not sure why people would then withdraw their support of the Club. I thought most wanted him to cough up in some way? And if as a result he retained a % or shareholding then so be it. Some Clubs have and are still bank rolled by Dodgy Russian money or Saudi government cash. Why should we be ashamed to have a local who want to at least try to right his past mistakes
Totally agree. Derby is my team. I was born in Abingdon Street just over the railway from the BBG and then till I was 15 moved to Dairyhouse Road in earshot of the BBG. Season ticket holder for donkeys years. It’s my team and I can’t imagine a world without the Rams. I may be without scruples but I don’t care who is involved with my team so long as we are saved from liquidation or not getting -15 points

I pop on this thread every now and again to see if anything momentous has happened but it’s just more of the same as it has been for months and months, posters giving their views, possible scenarios, what might happen, what might not happen etc etc. every possible event seems to have been outlined over and over again. Wake me up when something meaningful happens

I know the thread is about B&W together but to answer, in my defence I did teach in an American school. However the “s” or “z” debate rages on. In fact, while the US spelling is with a ‘z’ the UK preferred spelling is also with a ‘z’ and as an alternative with an ‘s’ if you follow the guidance from leading authoritative dictionaries. There are no rules.

Don't use Twitter so never heard of them. Anyone who spells organisation with a 'z' is not to be trusted imho!
Are you American? “Organization” is the correct spelling in UK. This coming from a former teacher of English to foreign students

I always wondered what sort of people opposed the Human Rights Act. Its fairly obvious now. My grandad knew, he fought against them from 1939 to 1946.
Crikey, who was your grandad fighting in 1946? ?

Sorry to disappoint you all but OTIB have now reached 100 pages on their Relegate Derby forum topic before we got to 1000. Apparently, '
There's a rumour that Derby County will be banned from the EFL but an "Independent Football Club from Derby" will be allowed to play all fixtures, with the same playing squad, staff and ground but a slightly different badge.
I think there going a bit delirious on their and will soon be drinking their own piss.
I think they’re going a bit delirious on there….. 1 out of 3 correct. Must try harder. ( once a teacher……..)

Do you seriously expect a blow by blow account of what happens in the timeline ? Social media and all the expectstions it brings has a lot to answer for. I belong to a generstion that got ghd news after it was all sorted. How can yoh possibly say that Q have been doing nothing , why would they publicise what they were doing to all and sundry ? What right do we have to know exactly what is happening minute by minute in transactions we are not part of .....thats not how it works .
Agree totally. This is a challenging project with complex administrative and financial and legal issues that by their very nature change constantly. Some people need to get a grip.

It's hard to assess the depths of Russian strength fully but what can be assessed is materials, equipment, and tactics. The fact they don't even have control of the Ukrainian skies is hardly a good sign. As David Petraeus said last night this was not shock and awe and the advance has been stuttering. This will only increase as supply lines get stretched and they face a bedded in resistance movement. I don't think this is going to be as easy for the Russians as either they or others anticipated. I did also read an analysis that basically said the tactical approach from the Russians is not so far being supplemented by sufficient armour, weapons, or manpower.
Agree. A detailed report in the US said that the 150,000 to 200,00 Russian troops that Vlad is thought to have to control Ukraine is nowhere near large enough for a country as large as Ukraine and with such a large population. The thought is that at least 500,000 troops would possibly be required

P.S WTF does Toon army mean ???
There’s a thing called Google, Hinton, and if you type in “why is it called toon army” you get the answer that it’s the Geordie pronunciation of “town” ?
