I'm not sure you can really connect the previous points deductions with any future deductions (for the 25% creditor thing anyway). The clarity regarding future deductions was specifically to avoid failing future FFP periods with the restated amortization applied etc. The 15 point penalty for not paying creditors is a completely separate thing, and basically an automatic process. I'm not even sure there was any way that Quantuma could have negotiated it away. And whether it it happens is largely out of their hands - either a bidder is prepared to pay the 25% or they aren't, Quantuma can't force them to.
Obviously with hindsight, it might have been wise to fight the previous penalties a bit harder, knowing that we ended up getting delayed by the 'Boro thing and whatever else. But at the time, you can certainly understand why getting it sorted and pushing for a quick sale seemed the right strategy.

I read about frustration at not getting things done but if the two bidders are offering less than is needed to meet the requirements of the EFL and creditors then I don’t see what else can be done.
I’m sure Quantuma will want to avoid a points deduction situation.
I also don’t want a Derby County that is despised for not paying its bills, especially to smaller businesses.
It’s enormously vexing day after day to come on here to no news, particularly as the resolution of the Middlesbrough situation was seen as a turning point.
I think it has affected the players and the fans that were packing Pride Park now show signs of resignation.
I think the takeover will be at the end of the season as many predicted it would be.
DCFC will survive but there are more tough days ahead.

We have been there, part of the SCG, I opened topics on the forum to collect questions to put forward to the club.
RamsTrust, Punjabi Rams, DCFC Collection, Rams Active, DCFC Supporters Club, Nick Webster, yet I feel this forum was unfairly targeted as having some exclusive inside information which was never the case.
It’s honestly not worth the hassle, when Paul (Boycie) went, he left work early to attend, when I did I had a 5hr train journey and whilst I’m not looking for the little violin here, it opens us up to all kinds of abuse.
If you look online now, BAWT are already starting to experience kick back from some fans. Until Derby fans are appreciative of the efforts from those within these groups, there is no incentive at all to be part of the SCG.
If we went down the path of holding the club to account, becoming some kind of protest forum, we would never gain any access at all, we would also lose members that are not interested in being part of that.
From now on this is nothing more than a platform to air your views. Nothing more, nothing less.

Aye.
He also said he'd sell us for a pound.
He said we were well clear of FFP, while selling our ground from us.
He interrupted Natalie Cassidy to correct her When, not if Derby get promoted.
He said he was a mere custodian, and the only difference between him and us was his season ticket was more expensive.
I'm sure I can find multiple other quotes of his which don't stack up, if you so desire?

Your thoughts about bringing footballers in to a serial killer debate?

I have lots of proof that he wasn't paying the HMRC for one.

Point still stands regardless of the comparator I use.
Would you be more comfortable if I used genocidal dictators instead. Happy to help.

Of course it is - the point being that it doesn't matter whether you initially were giving plaudits to a person when you didn't know what actually they were doing behind the scenes. Am sure lots of people thought Fred West was a fantastic builder.
We all trusted that Morris was running the club in a responsible manner as the custodian of our football club and by Christ how wrong we were. But we didn't find that out until it was too late.

What a silly question. Am sure Harold Shipman had total respect from all of his patients until he was found out to be bumping a load of them off.

Yeah and racking up millions in debt by not paying taxes! That is nothing to do with EFL and everything to do with not running a business correctly I’m afraid so MM has zero respect from me ! We were better off with the yanks !

Nixon, the great footballing prophet,he has no idea whether we would be allowed to join in League 2 or not.

Really don’t get this ‘I am not going to follow DCFC 2022’ (if it happens). I would accept it if anyone was at the first game in 1884, but anyone else is just on some nostalgic and sentimental nosedive imo.

They will also act in accordance of the rules for trying to get the club out of administration. They won't just sell so they ensure there is enough for them to get paid, their governing body runs a very tight ship regarding legislation and failure to adhere to those rules can result in them being barred as administrators. If they fail to sell it will not be for want of trying,it will mean nobody is willing to buy the club at a satisfactory price.

That won't stop certain people stomping their feet and making digs at Qauntuma in 80-90% of their posts though.

Can't believe there's a chance we would get allowed back in to League 2. National League at a pinch, National League North or South more likely.

That's where I'm at with football at least, fallen out of love with it, too much money involved, the clubs in the right place at the right time have become too powerful since Sky, the VAR crap, the constant changing of rules like offside (if you are on the frigging pitch you are active and have an effect on the play - end of!) Handball or not, is it an unnatural position etc so a shot 15 yrds out going for row Z hits an arm above the head as the defender is getting it out of the way for a goal bound shot is deemed a handball and penalty..... but a goal bound effort that hits the elbow isn't so long as the player is moving naturally..... Should be simple, did the defence gain an advantage resulting from it hitting the arm, I think it was Stimac got penalised once for hitting his arm when it was tight across his chest, so the ball would have hit his chest if the arm wasn't there.....
Only good thing in recent times is goal line technology, although I do remember that not picking up a valid goal in the 1st Yr, Villa was it?
Finally, social media, keyboard warriors spouting so much vitriol or fake news that causes shocking reactions and has now, IMO, with the availability of drugs, led to increasing violence and bad behaviour at games.
Sad times

It can happen if either the bids are too low to be accepted by creditors or they have terms which effectively make them invalid eg: their offer is contingent on Mel selling the stadium for X or giving it away.

Before i go any further i stress i am not being negative.
I understand your thinking on the fan base which has to be worth something but you have to question does it?
We have been for sale for the last Two and a half years and in that time Burnley who have a fan base lower than ours was bought by American investment company ALK for £170M in December 2020. It seems the lure of the Premiership comes before a dedicated fan base.
-
atherstoneram reacted to Ram1988 in The Administration Thread
I also agree. It is vital we can start planning now as a fan base and footballing community whatever the situation will be, we just need to know. The administrators silence and repeated broken deadlines is worrying especially being so close to the end of the season.
