I’ll say it again, remember when Mel promised the stadium “would not hold up any takeover”… the man’s a scumbag, absolute scumbag

A question that needs to be asked is do people think he is/was a genuine fan? Or was that just lip-service to get the fan base on board while he screwed things up behind the scenes?
personally, I don’t believe he was a fan, he sees the club like a business asset and nothing else, there’s no “right thing” to do because he doesn’t believe he’s done anything wrong. It’s just business

It could. Though Mel was like the ideal fantasy, a genuine fan with  money buying the club. A local ambitious owner. Incredibly rare in the modern game.
I think a large part of the anger is a feeling of betrayal, a disbelief that a fellow fan could do this much damage. Which also comes with people willing to still defend him because he is a fan. Hoodwinked.

Why I consider Morris worse than our other bad owners?
the deception of us fans , he came in proclaiming a love of our club , he came in as one of our own ,we accepted him and sang the songs massaging his ego , if he came in honest and wanting to make money by getting a club/team on the verge of promotion to prem actually into the prem to make money but ducked it all up then fair do s he’s an owner I dislike but he is beyond that for me ,
you want the acceptance and adulation Morris did then it cuts both ways

I wouldn’t harm him. However, non stop protests outside his house all day and all night so he cannot sleep or have moment’s peace would be good.

Just one example of the damage one man has caused to this club. 
8 years ago we were demolishing BHA in a play off semi final.
We headed en masse to Wembley, hoping to gorge on the Premier League riches. 
Then the man with the reverse midas touch threw his hat in the ring, and look where it's led us. 
We've been relegated to Division 3, we don't own anything other than 5 contracted players, and if Rooney is to be believed we're in the most critical 24 hours of our clubs history, with no guarantees of survival.
Meanwhile, on Sky Sports, Brighton are finishing off their 5th consecutive season in the top flight with a humbling of Man Utd!
It's hard to imagine a starker contrast in the two clubs fortunes, and it's down to one person alone.

Today, Mel Morris had within his gift one final gesture of goodwill to our club, that would have let us celebrate our survival together in our home with a new owner.
Instead, he chose for whatever reason to deny us this final solace, in what has been our toughest season for many decades.
I've always tried to understand the difficulties he has faced, the money he poured into the club, the intransigence of the EFL, the outside factors at play.
But my patience has worn thin lately, and today it has snapped altogether.
You've lost the club, Mel, you've lost our club. You've lost all respect, you've lost our respect. 
No matter what you do from this point forward you will never redeem yourself in my eyes.

Just got home to Bournemouth after the game with my son. Both loved it and so good to see the ground full and although the result was not there, not too disappointed as the day was about more than that. 
Never been so emotional at a game, tears in eyes at the walk around at the end. Even turned around when walking out to take one last look at the place just in case.

What a mess ,, how the hell did he manage that , it’s like me getting a loan secured on somebody else’s house that I don’t own 

We’ll kind of but if I get a loan secured against my house and the transfer the ownership of that house surely there must be something wrong in that legally?
