Archied got a reaction from Kathcairns in The Administration Thread
Hobson s choice , ck sounds passionate about buying us but can’t or won’t pay what it costs to do it lock stock , ground and no further points deductions, Ashley obviously not making passionate noises and being clear he won’t pay the amount needed to buy us lock stock ( at least we know where we stand )
I would very much like there to be a derby county left to carry on supporting when all this is done but there is a very real threat that Morris has put the club beyond rescue financially and continues to do so but what do I or any of us fans matter whether old buggers like me lifelong or young ones just starting out on that journey with us as kids or grandkids tasting the atmosphere at games and listening to our memories of former glories and great times ,,,, football is broken , shame on Morris and not just him because football is infested with his type

When did I say there was a problem? I am sure you could be put in solitary confinement for a week, and come out having had at least 20 arguments.

I posted the other day that I was doubtful about this deal being finalised and the night out with footballers doesn’t increase my belief that it will happen , just seems like a bit of fun and games for those at the top of all this , ego s ( mel) and hi jinx from prospective buyer , it’s just not a good look

Can't wait for the Fans Forums and the 'free scarves'! Can't see much difference in the behaviour of CK or early MM tbh.
Not impressed with the clubbing when he's got an early meeting next day. But that's his choice of how he is seen.

Mel's not fit to have his name mentioned in the same sentence as Lionel Pickering for me. Maybe nostalgia but Lionel's legacy was having left us with PPS, having built it for us and depleted his fortune to basically nothing in doing so. I'd think Lionel would be turning in his grave to see the ground being separated out from the club and potentially DCFC being homeless and/or liquidated. The difference I think is that I/we believe Mel has money (Pickering didn't) and so it is his in effect his choosing to put us in this situation.

Mel refusing to deal with Kirchner in any way and blocking him at all costs because it's personal isn't game changing?

But really, with tensions already high you posted something that you'd heard that is likely at best a slightly dubious source that is also highly inflammatory, probably not wise?

I mean, what does he actually expect? I actually think the Derby fan base has been more than tolerant to Mel Morris than a lot of other clubs would’ve been in this situation.

I live about 2 miles from MM's Derbyshire house and today it is taking all my will power not to post a notice on his gate stating just what I think of him. I am so cross and upset. I know we don't know all the facts but how reckless to gamble over the future of our club, affecting the jobs, incomes of thousands of people and the feelings of the many devoted fans. Didn't he realise that the flip side of gaining entry to the Premiership was what is happening now. Utter recklessness. As not only the owner but custodian he had a duty to ensure the viability of the club.
