After all the emphasis on PW and his fitness regimes etc I find it weird that our players- more so than any of the opposition ones faced thus far - seem so knackered and out on their feet for the last 20 mins or so. 
I don’t see us pressing anywhere near as much as last season as a team ( one or two individuals do) and yet we seem more unfit than other teams. Strange….

He did well, yes. Nelson looking far more comfortable in the middle .

At this point we just need the win . Not a great performance albeit the defence looked more settled. We need bite and more creativity in midfield though.

But we are giving Fleetwood too much space now - they’ve had two really good chances in an couple of mins ..
we need to concentrate 

Over 5 seasons promoted, relegated, promoted, relegated, promoted. There are 2 ways to view the 2 relegations, IMO.
1. He isn't up to coaching in the SBC or
2. The Millers didn't have the money to pay for the players he wanted / Rotherham wasn't a big enough draw for players / both
When he left Rotherham to come to us last season they were in 8th. Does that mean 2. above is the more likely?
On paper he recruited well. Most fans seemed to be of that opinion until the "proper" games started. Unfortunately, football is played on grass, not on paper. Every new signing is a gamble that may, or may not, come off. The measure of PW will be to see if he can take the current situation and turn it round into something resembling the confidence everybody seemed to have going into the season.
On the start, we've never done better than 2 wins from the opening 6 games in any season in which we won the League or got promoted. We have a 2 in 7 (1975) and two 2 in 8s. The rest were all 2 in 6.
Also remember 2 years ago. the Dogs down the road lost their opening 7 and went up...

We did ok with Corey Smith and Sibs there so I say we concentrate on getting a good central midfielder in. 
To be honest I expected much more from Smith in midfield (albeit early days) but he’s been pretty pants so far… anonymous .

No sugar coating this. We look lost . No cohesion . 
PW must be seriously worried . Early days, yes, but the ‘team’ is just not a team.

Sorry to answer own post… but Sheffield Star (generally itk) are now reporting a ‘loan bid’ from us..

Somewhat cryptic comments by him… but I don’t read it like that… seems to me that he’s covering his bases in case he can’t bring new players in… but if he can then it’s possible he may be surplus… ie what PW has been saying… that a possible transfer in at DCFC somewhat relies on another club bringing in new players themselves first..
