Yay, I’ve been blocked by Nixon for challenging his ??. I must be doing something right ?

Echoing the Ed Dawes comments about Appleby still being interested, and not frustrated with the process.

I literally tweeted them to say Derbys fans would buy their club and instantly liquidate them. I’ve had a beer so put myself on private mode, will assess whether to pursue in the morning

SaffyRam reacted to Day in The Administration Thread
I won't attempt to speak on behalf of Derby fans, only myself and politely request to be excluded from this apology.
Boro and Wycombe are owed nothing, no apology and not a penny.

Incredible. Regardless of what happens to us, for what this man has given to the club in our darkest hour, he will be remembered as a Derby legend. I cannot express my admiration for the bloke. He's inspiring.
I really hope he gets the chance to have a fair crack at things with us. I have a feeling it could be very special.

SaffyRam reacted to Sparkle in Wayne Rooney
He has installed loyalty and commitment to the players who have performed outstandingly whilst chaos goes on all around them, we the supporters give our love and thanks for that commitment and if he had walked I fear a massive crumble of confidence would have occurred with players wanting to move on. He is a major reason people want to buy Derby county to go alongside the loyalty of the supporters, 30,000 attending for a nonsense 1-30 kick off on a Sunday against Birmingham city when given a minus 21 start - wow
Once a Ram always a RAM

SaffyRam reacted to Ghost of Clough in Wayne Rooney
When you have a manager as devoted to the cause as Rooney, it's no surprise the players are leaving their blood, sweat and tears out on the pitch

A lot of this feels like a the Morris Gibson fight continuing by Proxy.

SaffyRam reacted to IslandExile in Name and shame
All the official statements say how complex the issues are and that everyone is working really hard to resolve them.
Enough of that.
Whoever is to blame for the impasse, whether it's individuals or a combination, I hope that from the meeting with the MPs and/or the latter ones with the supporters groups, someone comes out and states publicly what the blocking issues are and why they're not yet resolved.
Someone or something has to give or - as Margaret Beckett put it so eloquently the other day - those involved will not be forgiven or forgotten.
The supporters have done all they can to get the story out, I think there is now general support across the country. Ignore the vocal few; the majority are concerned about the future of the game. Now is the time to thrash a deal out. Not hide behind the same blah, blah, blah.
Name and shame the folks preventing our club from being saved.

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but we’re on football focus on Saturday. I’ve put in this thread as I’m guessing there’s not going to be a tactical examination of DCFC vs Brum!

I regularly run and volunteer at Markeaton parkrun. Running’s helping me keep my head straight at the moment.

SaffyRam reacted to We'll be back in 81 in The Administration Thread
We were asked not to go public until after the EFL have told Nixon or Percy first.
Wait for one to tweet between now and tomorrow morning.

It's probably off topic, but to evangelize briefly, there's Parkrun at Markeaton park and Alvaston park every Saturday morning (as well as long Eaton and Shipley) - it's something healthy and positive to get involved with, either running or volunteering.
Free, fun, healthy and welcoming to everyone - if you're just starting out you'll get loads of support and you don't have to be at any kind of minimum to get started. I regularly Marshall at my local parkrun and it's a good positive.

Watching re-runs of thrashing Boro away is proving very therapeutic!

I'm moving house, so that's kind of exciting and is providing a good distraction.
That being said, fellow Rams, if you are feeling distressed, anxious or need mental health advice, there is a helpline set up specifically by Derbyshire NHS Foundation Trust for residents of the county. If you're registered at a Derbyshire GP, you can call 0800 028 0077 24/7. They may be able to help provide some positive advice on how to distract yourself and move forward.
I also work for a local mental health service (in a non-clinical role) which offers scheduled therapy. Our waiting times are wacky at the moment so don't expect to be seen right away however it may help to talk. Services you can self-refer to in Derbyshire are as follows:
Trent PTS - https://www.trentpts.co.uk/
Vita Minds - https://www.vitahealthgroup.co.uk/nhs-services/nhs-mental-health/Derby-and-derbyshire/
Insight Healthcare - https://www.insighthealthcare.org/
Talking Mental Health - http://www.derbyshirehealthcareft.nhs.uk/tmhd-refer
Of course, hopefully all this will be resolved positively in the coming weeks and all of what I've just typed will become unnecessary but it's here for anybody who might need it.
Obviously, if you're experiencing really dark moments and believe yourself to be at risk of self-harm, please call 111 or go to A&E.
Look after yourselves boys and girls, brighter days will come.

Well, we have another month of uncertainty and speculation ahead of us.
I don't mind admitting this morning's lack of news has hit me hard.
We need to try and look after ourselves - and each other - over these next few weeks.
I feel better when I am watching games. Luckily, there are plenty of Derby games during February to keep us going.
What will you do to try and keep positive?

SaffyRam reacted to PistoldPete in The Administration Thread
So some guy who sat on a panel with quantuma is the son of a former MP who used to represent Mel Morris , along with about 30,000 other constituents.
is that the most tenuous connection in history?
-
SaffyRam reacted to PistoldPete in The Administration Thread
Bear in mind this is Percy being briefed by Birch.
Trouble is he is telling quantuma what to do and say as well.
Time for Margaret Beckett and co to give EFL a hand bagging.
