I just held the door open for Tyrone Mings at our local golf club. Last time I held a door open for a footballer was when I did it for Archie Gemmill coming out of Jordan and Fitch newsagents in Littleover village in about 1981 (I remember he was at Birmingham City at the time). At that frequency, I will never hold a door open for a footballer again in my lifetime.

Last footballer plural I opened a door for was Dalian Atkinson who as at Berlins with half the Villa team in about 94.  Thoroughly nice fella.  They were playing at Wembley against Man Utd on the Sunday and had come for a few out of town to avoid being spotted on the Friday.  Not sure it panned out  as a few as I had to 'assist' Mark Bosnich off the stairs and point them in the direction of the Pink Cocunut nightclub just round the corner I'd told them about.  Never get away with that nowadays .They won Sunday as well?

Funny, I was going to just leave pretty much the same review. It started really well, had a bit of a Tales Of The Unexpected feel about it, was a joy to watch Mirren and McKellen jousting but then it just got so silly. The things that would have happened in the sequence that is suggested, with no ability for deviation, in order to make the plot run as it does are just beyond even suspension of reality. There was a good story in there but it got itself into a plot it couldn't get itself out of. Helen Mirren is just lovely but I wonder how people like her and McKellen read scripts like this and don't go "but this is just garbage".
Agree on the Ravanelli rating - high profile name, promised much but actually failed to deliver

It's like Antiques Roadtrip / Bargain Hunt / Flog It - two people, one of which is an antiques expert, drive around the UK in a six figure classic car, spending four days buying antiques for a total profit of £27
