Q are at last fighting a deadline.
I don't believe they have enough capital to start the season, can't show proof of funds to the efl.
At last Q must declare a preferred bidder, and not wait longer.
I'm surprised no one's thought of suing Q for emotional stress caused to the fans.
My solicitor seems to think this is possible.

I will when you show me the directors loan account in the administrators report for DCFC.
As an accountant I'm extremely confident in what I am saying.
Would you mind me asking your credentials?
The irony of your edit ???

Never forgiven, nor forgotten; EFL yet again showing mastery of false messaging and accusatory finger-pointing. They are showing their panic in the only way they know - to shift the blame.
They delayed and deferred many processes which damaged DCFC for 2.5 years, as if MM & Pearce's stupidity and 'creativity' weren't enough to mortally would the club.
We will mount a huge witch-hunt and media assault if DCFC dies, to turn the spotlight on these incompetent custodians of the League. We'll do it anyway: we're Derby County, we'll fight to the end!
Permanent middle-finger and worst wishes too upon the parasite clubs ?

    This.
Rick Parry will be desperate not to be blamed if we go under. He is personally responsible for his failure to deal with Gibson's spurious claim. Cowardly and unprofessional behaviour which will never be forgiven.

If the bidders don't make an offer aligned to what Q are seeking, there's no deal.
The size of the debt makes it the largest debt on football history in the UK.
A new bidder is likely to receive preferred bidder status, once they pass the threshold for buying the club, as set by Q.

That sports minister achieves nothing, unless hes got some good news about the hmrc reducing the size of the debt thats owed to them.
Otherwise, that sports minister, is just trying a public relations exercise. It costs him nothing, and he achieves nothing.
He's not invested, hes not offering any solution.

In a game of chess, this would be checkmate for Q.
They cant sell the club, because the creditors, on whose behalf they are working, require a certain amount of cash to pass the deal.
Q know exactly what that amount of money is.
None of the buyers appear to be willing to offer an amount that meets that requirement, but we dont know why Q are not telling the potential bidders not to place a bid unless it meets that minimum requirement.
If the club had an owner, the owner could decide to sell the club for less money, but Q is not the owner they are the appointed administrators and their goal is different from an owner, its to make sure that the creditors get the best possible deal.
Complicating that process is the efl, the efl are crushing Derby.
The efl could remove their rule from being used against Derby, they could in fact make it possible for the club to be sold, but the efl are not in the business of not throwing their weight around.
The efl want to say that they have made an example of Derby County, they are now heavily involved in the process because they want to make sure that the bidders apply the efl's own creditors rule, they want to be certain that the buyer must abide by that ruling.
A potential 15 points deductions will only be imposed on Derby if a new purchaser cannot meet the terms of the EFL insolvency policy of 25p in £ on exit or 35p in £ over three years (to unsecured creditors).
The EFL demand that the buyer meets that condition.
And there we have it, an impasse or checkmate if we were playing chess, no possibility of a move without one of the sides giving in.
The buyers want to offer less.
The government isn't willing to force HMRC to take less money in terms of the debt that Derby need to repay, they want to make an example to other football clubs and their debts but to the derby county fans, they want to say that they are doing all they can to try and save the club.
The efl want to make an example to other football clubs by demanding that the terrms of their insolvency policy is met.
The buyers want to offer less.
Q accepted the fantasy offer from Kirchner, a fantasy because it looks like he was never going to honour that amount, he just wanted to be the preferred buyer, in my opinion he wasnt the best buyer for the club as he had no football ownership experience.

You know. Maybe ist just a preference thing. But I don’t quite understand all the  Nixon slagging.

The bloke is cryptic at times. But, to me, that just implies he’s being honest. Most stories/situations are actually boring and process driven, as opposed to fanciful and conspiracy laden.

Take the CK situation; there really was nothing to suggest he wasn’t going to get the deal done. All contracts were signed and agreed. He even sent the money. All of this can actually be tracked by the parties involved. Then he pulled his offer. So up until he pulled the offer, everybody involved seemed to agree it was all going well (if not a bit lengthy).

I’m sure some details will come out about why it has gone done the way it has. And I’d be surprised if those details aren’t just boring process related issues. But that’s beside the point.

Nixon can be a wee bit rash and frustrating at times. But he always seems pretty level on reporting matters. Or like I said, maybe it’s just a preference thing ?‍♂️

It's not about the MA brigade, those who support him recognise he's the person with deeper pockets at present.
One of the remaining few who might save the club.
There's zero reason for ma to buy the club and not invest, why would someone with his understanding of the dynamics of football ownership, want a club that's destined to be in League Two, unless there's investment.
Ma will want to get the best deal possible for the club, but he will also understand that if he fails to pay the creditors the minimum amount, the club will get a -15 point deduction plus being unlikely to be able to invest in new players for an already decimated team.
During the years ma owned Newcastle, they stayed in the Premier league as lots of teams did not.
He invested a vast fortune, into Newcastle but he realised he couldn't compete with the likes of man utd, Chelsea, arsenal, Tottenham, man city, Liverpool and Tottenham.
Not that spending a lot always helps, Everton have spent a lot but haven't performed as well as I think they would've liked.
Other potential investors concern me, since the likes of Andy Appleby didn't manage to raise the capital to cover the minimum amount for creditors in order to stop a -15 point deduction being applied to the club.
It does appear that no one has made an offer at the minimum amount that Q requires to sell the offer to the creditors.

with the 2022/23 fixture list due to be released in less than two weeks, and need to act now in the best interests of the EFL.
Well as long as the interests of the EFL are protected thats all that matters.
with an acknowledgment that the League will be able to negotiate directly in relation to matters concerning the transfer of the share in the EFL.
I'm not an expert on administration stuff but isnt this pretty pointless? If the administrators dont think an offer is good enough nothing the EFL can do will change that and it wont matter who they want to give the share ti. Unless they're saying they are just going to give it to a completely different team
