£1.5m additional MSD loan was secured against leaseholds and other assets. Will need to be repaid by the new owner I believe.

There is plenty of things the EFL need to address, but it's not always simple. The one thing that the EFL really must balance is the ability for teams to be competitive which gets harder and harder every single year. The problem with parachute payments is that it's essentially a Premier League clause, not Football League, so you can forget about getting rid of that because you need the owners of Premier League clubs to vote on it.
The EFL needs investment. Honestly, I don't understand why they try so hard to restrict spending because the 90% of the spending is EFL club to EFL club.
Let's take Jack Marriott for example - we paid somewhere in the region of £2-4m for his services which in hindsight we shouldn't have done. However, Peterborough were able to use that money to sign Ivan Toney. Without us signing Marriott, they don't sign Toney and they don't flip him for 10-20x the profit.
You restrict teams with money to not spend money, the knock on effect is that you reduce the market value of football players because there isn't enough clubs spending money and the lower league teams essentially don't have a market to ship their best players. It seems they only look at the buying club spending the money, rather than the selling club receiving the money.

The EFL also saw fit to disregard the 3 High Court Judge verdicts they had sought to establish the creditor status of the parasite claims.
They enabled the solicitors of Gibson and Cowpig to muddy the waters, defer progress and sustain doubt of the claim validity.
It was in the EFL's power to crush actions of Club Vs. Club and also to accept Q's legal findings - but they wouldn't, so it all dragged on until bids / PB's were nixed and the assured relegation strategy was fulfilled.
If Q wanted to detail the ups and downs of liaison and point to the money and time wastage over the period, it would make a good handbook for the EFL of how to reduced a club to rubble.
Full of anger at the EFL; it will not subside but will be compartmentalised, once Clowes is in the driving seat and Rooney is permitted to recruit players.
    Watching and waiting!

Clowes has been smart here, he has loaned the club some money and owns the stadium so the other bidders have to deal with him now in some capacity. He has manoeuvred himself in to a position where him owning the club now just makes a lot more sense than any others.
I reckon we might see him taking over the club alongside someone like Appleby to pull in some additional investment. Less risky for Appleby and whoever he is convincing to part with some cash as well and if they can share the burden we might be able to cobble enough cash together to avoid a points deduction.
All of that is entirely speculation on my part, but seems to make sense.

In the year 3000 Q's bill now stands at £100,000,000,000,012.93 and they on they are on the 137,643,243 preferred bidder. The EFL are no longer a problem as they were disbanded many years ago, so its not all bad news?

I still find it staggering people take the time to ask him questions.  They'd be better off coming on here where they'd get far more informed answers. Or cryptic one liners, telling them nothing, which most people seem to be happy with.

They can take all the advice they want, but they will have a continuing contractual obligation to the club (and it’s successors) which means they can’t even buy out their contracts unless the club agrees. I think it will be the agents trying to engineer a pay day. Can’t see it happening. Just posturing by the agents.
