You haven't been following this thread.EFL issued statements saying clubs who were suspected of FFP rule brecahes would not be eligible.  Then EFL changed their story when confronted by Rams fans.

It was an odd comment considering that even most neutrals (and even the EFL, who tried to throw the book at Wednesday and their directors) ) would believe that what Sheff Wed did wrong was worse than anything Derby did. But there was bad blood between Derby and Rotherham anyway i think their Chairman ranting and Rooney criticising him.

Checks and balances ae the government's responsibility mate, so I wouldn't hold you breath. We're on our own I'm afraid. Ultimately I think this will result in an examination of the EFL rules and the means by which they go about applying them, but that'll come too late for us. We need to take our licks, bounce straight back and be sure to remind the EFL every Saturday afternoon of the high esteem in which we hold them ?

If we are relegated anyway what difference does it make?
EFL saying its unlikely Derby would win of course means nothing at all , they would say that wouldn't they . They are on the other side, or they choose to be on the other side.
We have no idea what the 17 points is supposed to be for. Being Derby County presumably. Wearing black and white strip being an aggravating factor.  
   

I agree Angie. Van Der Moodhoover is spot on with his assessment of EFL. But they are bullies,  totally abusing their power. How does anyone respond to that? Stand up to them and risk just antagonising them as Morris was accused of doing. Or maintain dignified silence? Either way I think  the result is the same. EFL just do what they want and get away with it. I sincerely hope that all regulatory powers are removed from them and vile characters like Parry and Ridsdale are sacked off. But  it will be too late for Derby.

Not as biased as me. The EFL were the bad guys a long time before then for me. Charging us for the stadium sale and leaking to the press about how they had got an independent valuer.

Yeah, I mean desperately unlucky losing two key players to injury in the first game of season. but why not use the loan market FFS?
