No he will just write off  the £125 million debt we owe him. Provided people on here stop moaning about him, in which case he won't.

Nixon's full of BS. And he writes for the Sun. But he is almost the only source of news. Daily Mail just make stuff up. Percy is accurate , but only gets stuff from EFL nowadays.

The cost of rebuilding PPS to the same spec would be over £100 million. Chesterfield is not remotely a comparison, their stadium isn't even fully formed and is not built to the same spec and only a third of the capacity.
I don't know what the deal is with PPS , but the admin team regard it as selling point to potential buyers, so something that would help the sale of the club , not hinder it.  The club is not buying it anyway, it's the potential buyers who would pay for it.
Maguire is right to point out that loans from Mel amount to £125 million..but I think he sensationalises the issue.   everyone on here believes him when he says he will write these off. However it does seem odd that people on here are so keen to pile in and give him a kicking when we are dependent on him to write off £25 million he could quite rightfully claim.

Unfortunately only the Sun and the Telegraph have any inside info, and Percy gets his stuff from the EFL nowadays. SO Nixon seems to b the only one even remotely in the know.

Maybe Arsenal will have him back again and cancel most of the debt. . And sell him again when he has proved his fitness.

I could re-write that article saying CK is coming over to further demonstrate his commitment to buying the club and to see what he can do to help speed up the process. Nothing factual would have changed but it wouldn't get so much reaction.
As for him being shocked by what we owe, he had paid his money and would have known the financial situation weeks ago. The only person who is "shocked" (mock outrage) is the "journalist" (hack) who wrote the story.

I think we scored 6 againt Rotherham under Lampard in 2019. Can't remember us getting 5 or more since. 4-0 against Brum last year was the nearest.

Saw Cashin pre-season at Notts County. Very impressive - some will say he’s a tad short for a CH but he’s every inch a natural footballer.

Whatever this season brings I can’t help but feel all warm and gooey inside every time we kick off.

Bogle and Lowe have long gone but they were a good start. Now, when I see the long long list of youngsters who over the last 12/18 months got a baptism of fire and met it with commitment and skill; I am filled with hope and delight.
so many, even in this short time, have shown they aren’t lightweight kids thrown in to a desperate mincer. They have skill, fortitude and ability. They  have stepped up with ease.
Watson, Williams, Thompson, Knight, Bird, Ebesole, Buchanan, Cashin, Sibley, Stretton. Just look at that list !
Anyone of them can and will wear our shirt and give a good account of themselves. They have reached the mark at a young age. They are at the beginning. At this stage of their development they will only get better .. it’s a heck of a list from one club .. to produce virtually a full team from your own toy box in such a short stretch of time is magical. Manchester United make much of their youth development with 100 x our resources. Rooney, Daz Waz and even Mel must get a salute for being part of this. Then add in Curtis, Fozzy, Colin and Jags .. what great examples they are setting. .. These kids will win something, this year, next year or 5 years down the line.

It may sound strange but I am enjoying this battle against the odds because I am seeing character, courage, growing skills, enthusiasm, pride and sport prowess of the highest order. It is hugely rewarding and just joyful to see it.

Kevin sorry if I misquoted you. But I do not agree that the stadium sale can be challenged just because you get a different valuer with a different opinion. That isn’t how it works , it’s not really how HMRC work.

and on the second point the IDC made clear that the mis statement in the accounts would have suggested a far worse noncompliant  policy than anything we actually used. It suggested we used “residual values” for players at the end of contracts when everyone knows that players values are zero at the end of the contracts. So how come EFL weren’t all over that then?

EFL’s finance director at the time was quoted as saying the charges against Derby were a load of rubbish.
so the only reason we were charged was because there had been a change of personnel at the Efl. Which I think is unfair , inconsistent and unreasonable.
