Always focus on police injuries. If it's something the BBC doesnt agree with.

TBF the Administrators job is to get as much money as possible, the best way of achieving this would be to sell the club.  Therefore they are going to project an air of expectation until the very last minute should (God forbid) we go into liquidation.
The bullishness of the Administrators does not impress me one jot, they were stating they were confident in saving the club before they'd had time to go through the books!  That concerns me, remember that Mel convinced us all not to worry for a good while before he chucked the towel in!
I really hope there is some positive news next week and my Preferred choice would be Andy Appleby, he know the club and the fans, he certainly knows how to turn the accounts round and Pearce will almost certainly be shown the door too if he takes over.  Which will be a positive sign!

Yes, but Clement compares quite well against Clough on PPG. So the stats don't really tell the full story. Clough had a really bad first season, then got us promoted so the rest of his time we were playing top flight football. It's not a question of data being twisted, but comparing points per game over 7 years compared to seven months , one in top flight and the other the second tier etc, is not very comparable. Also need to look at the hand they are dealt.
Personally (my opinion) I think Rooney has done quite well with a threadbare squad. But he is still very much unproven.

Agree with all of this. I posted something yesterday that Gboro had already pointed out, because well I didn't see his post. I have got work to do you know.
And yes I don't think there is  a clear distinction between "fact" and opinion. Someone mentioned statistics being facts, well often they are but they are also often presented in a way that is misleading and wrong. Hence the expression lies, damed lies and statistics. And a series of facts , selectively stitched together can be used to draw a wrong conclusion , especially if you throw in a heavy does of confirmation bias.

We do not know which variant we are going to catch. We know that vaccines reduce the risk of transmission by those that have the virus (not nearly so much for delta). If you are vaccinated you have less risk of catching it or of serious illness if you do catch it. So COVID passports reduce the risk of serious illness by ensuring that people entering crowded venues are at less risk of either catching the virus or of suffering serious illness if they do catch it.
Also by encouraging greater take up of vaccines it reduces the risk of serious illness if you catch COVID at any time, not just when you visit a nighclub .

We're OK to share this - full minutes on Monday now..
    * There are 3 interested bidders that Quantuma are still negotiating with. Each bid is complicated and each is taking time for Quantuma to fully evaluate based on different elements in them.
    * Negotiations with HMRC have been extremely positive, but no deal is ever agreed with HMRC until the final proposal is on the table.
    * There are verbal agreements with Mel Morris and MSD Capital with regard to the ground.
    * Discussions with regard to transfers and contract extensions are being had, but no decisions will be made until the preferred bidder is announced to allow them to make their own decisions.

People not taking vaccines means more  people will get seriously ill. Which means hospitals will be busier than they need to be.

No doubt you could say the same about drunks and obese people  but some of this is avoidable.

If he dies or is very ill then you may have a point. At the moment Omicrom is not having a huge effect on death rates and I suspect that the doom mercahnts are laying it on thick. But that is in no small part due to vaccination programme doing its job.

Exactly. It's very senstive stuff, we don't want to pish off one of the bidders or HMRC or anyone by saying the wrong thing and scuppering the whole deal. Let's just be patient for now.
