Duracell got a reaction from JMC in Sponsors
Surprised Rolls Royce haven’t done it before. There must be a huge untapped market of football fans unsure of where to buy their jet engines from who would surely be swayed by seeing the logo on the shirts of a third tier club on ITV4. Especially seeing as Rolls Royce is a brand virtually nobody has heard of before.

Duracell reacted to Ellafella in Charlton Athletic V Derby Player Ratings
Thanks to those of you who provided ratings this week. ?
Your average Player ratings for the Charlton Athletic game are illustrated below.
A Summary
Mendez-Laing was voted the {statistical} MOTM with an average rating of 7.1
15 raters submitted ratings this week compared with 26 V OUFC. The average rating for the team was 6.34 compared with 6.75 V OUFC.
The Team Average Aggregate rating for CAFC was higher than for OUFC (82.88 compared with 80.98) despite the potentially confounding effect of the result (0-1 loss compared with 1-0 win).
The red dashed line shows the average for the team so players above the average rating {Collns, Bird, Wildsmith, Sibley and Mendez-Laing} are the early season top performers.
Smith & Barkheuizen are starting to be "outliers" after 2 games - both received lower average ratings from the OUFC game too.
I will start to build more and more statistics into the infographics as the season builds including statistics based on the raters.
Any suggestions or questions - please don't hesitate.

I'd be much more concerned if we weren't creating anything. That's harder to fix.
Bit confused about posts saying this is an historic problem, as heroic as our efforts were last season, creating clear-cut chances was a problem all season long. We created 4 or 5 today.

You make it sound like we were relegated missing gilt-edged chances left, right and centre. Under Cocu we were lucky to get a shot at goal at all and last season, we struggled to create even when we played well.
Missing easy chances is a problem, but it's a new one.
In this game specifically.

Completely agree with this.
Never understood the qualifier "at this level..." before saying something like "you've got to take your chances." How many leagues do you have to drop before it's not a massive issue if you miss the goal when you're trying to score?

I've had loads of strong beers too and my memory is failing me. Can you remind me of the games last season where we created as many clear-cut chances as today and missed them?

At the end of the match, someone should do a post about how it’s important to score

You offered an opinion and have been challenged on it, the basic premise of the challenge being that, as you quite rightly say, we haven't been able to score enough goals (and, as many of us have noticed, this has resulted in us being relegated), largely because we haven't created anything. You started sharing your opinion by wondering if our players practice shooting, implying that failing to score over those few seasons is due to poor finishing.
If you find yourself headbutting your greenhouse over people trying to debate with you (which is the whole point of the forum), perhaps it's worth remembering we're critiquing your points, not you.
