Was at the game last night. Fantastic support as usual. It looked to me like we outnumbered the home fans! 
Regarding the game, it was pretty poor.
A few notes:
Wilsmith did well, kicking occasionally wayward but I can put up with that. Great save before half time when they should have made it 2 nill.
Sibley, mendez lang, kwaku, Thompson, cashin played decent.
Hourihanne had a bit of a mare with his normally great passing. Still, he was attempting to make things happen.
Others didn't have much of an impact.

This would be a very good signing. Why would he come here?

Weird signing it it happens - almost seems as if Rosenior is trying to construct a team rather than just sign a load of players - whatever next…..

He’s a holding midfielder. What a weird thing to complain about. Do you complain about strikers without good clean sheets or goalkeepers who can’t head the ball?

6 goals in 323 games. Oh Jesus - he will fit right in with us.
Even with players going, this isn’t what we need. 
 
I know the cliche of don’t write a player off but he’s literally scored no goals anywhere which as a midfielder is poor. He makes Jason Knight look prolific.

Cracking signing but surely means one of the lads is off. Lots of interest from prem clubs in knight and Bird. I have a feeling knight will leave but keep bird. 

Well the news of him weaseling out of his contract came from the DET journo. So I would say a reputable source.
And the fact he didn't play against Bradford and hasn't trained with us speaks volumes.
So I'd be very, very surprised if he ever plays for us again, nor do I want him to.

If someone had said we're going to sign Hourihane , Collins and Barkhuisen after relegation I would not have believed it...great signings !

I can't see him being on four figures a week, seems like a reasonable enough chance that he'd be 3rd choice. He could be our version of what Scott Carson is to Man City. An experienced, good figure to have around the training ground, and someone who will stand in goal and let our players shoot at him.

Much more of an authentic League One signing this, finally someone I’ve never heard of and can assume is s*** despite never having seen him play.

Cracking player and a cracking signing for free. UTR?

Welcome to Dad's Army (The irish brigade).  

Spoke to a Sheff Utd ST holder yesterday. He said we will adore McGoldrick. His attitude, work rate and desire, breaking up the play and fighting his heart out throughout the whole game just made his that much of a fans favourte. Agreed that he won't score that many, and will miss some easy chances, and therefore also agreed we need someone to regularly put the ball in the net but McGoldrick will be a big hit.
Also said even last season, he was fitter than most 20-somethings in the team line up.
