Maybe he's doing the opposite of Tyrone Mears.......because it was thought that he wouldn't be offered a new contract, he's climbed in through the window and is hoping nobody noticed and that he can say he is still a DCFC player.

That's a big accusation and an unfounded one too. Unless you were involved in the appointment process you know nothing of how the decision was made,  and on what basis.
Rosenior has a chance now to show what he can do, let's hope he proves himself as a top manager and that he is a better manager than Rooney, but until he does that accusations of racism are frankly pointless and do nothing at all to further the chances of ethnic managers within the game.

Rooney had also played at the highest level for 16 years and was more likely to bring in a better calibre of player and increase TV revenue, sponsorship, media coverage and Morris hoped bring in someone to give him a lot of cash in a buyout. In football it's always the cash you can bring in or deal you can gazump. 
That's what I think stopped him getting the the nod personally.

Just so glad we are nearly there with a decent new owner, no debt and no ‘Wayne Rooneys Derby County’ circus following us. It’s not going to be easy and I’m expecting a difficult season in League One where we probably won’t be up there challenging, but I still cannot wait for the normality of going to the games, speculating over the new kit/new signings  and the joy/despair of results! I bloody love this club - COYR!

He’s probably cautious about taking it full time at this stage as a lot is dependant on everything going through on the 29th. I would expect him to to be announced full time following the successful purchase of the the club and an understanding of budgets / contracts etc.

Don’t think they can offer a permanent position while the ownership is still up for grabs. Small steps though and I assume he will be confirmed with the full position once the takeover is across the line.

Would have liked to have seen Rosenior given it outright. He may well end up with it, but if he was going to get it full time wouldn't we have given it to him now?

I don’t think he’s scrabbling around for cash at all - he’s tabled a bid and I don’t think he’d do that without knowing exactly how he’ll fund it
I think the pause is to allow AA and MA one last tilt

If Davies ends up sticking with us he will go down as one of my favourite Derby players of all time
