The question of whether this has been a "good" season is really interesting to me.
Statistically speaking it certainly has been. How can anyone argue that a promotion season (fingers crossed) isn't a good season?
And yet I would say that I enjoyed the McClaren season, the Lampard, maybe even the Rowett season, more than this one.
Why? Maybe my own personal enjoyment from football comes more from what I've seen happen over the 90 mins as opposed to the result.
I think what this season has done has made every Derby fan, whether they realise it or not, question whether they prefer the result or the football being played.

Lol. Greatest achievement since 2006/7? You think coming second in League 1 playing turgid football is an achievement? Lets debate it.
Nah that's okay, it's not appropriate. 👍

if we do get out of this nightmare,i for one would like to say goodbye to warne,i cannot bare the thought of another season of watching this brand of whatever it is.the gamble of warne using what little bit of money we have on players for warne ball and having to reset at christmas with an empty kitty would be too great in my opinion

A good example is that Derby should have sacked Billy Davies when they were promoted last time. They didn't and it was a mistake. Warne is obviously not the same basket case, the overarching point though is that a manager being right for the situation we are in now doesn't mean they will be moving forwards.

I’m still of the opinion that if we appointed a different manager we’d have been promoted last season.

I am old enough to remember last time we staggered out of this division with possibly a better squad. There were unhappy people sitting in the corner of the pub holding court, but with with the new fangled internet you can all moan together. I am dissapointed but some of you talk as if we can just turn up and play how we want, and the way the opposition play has an effect on our game.
I was wondering how I can stay relaxed about things and the answer can to me as I goth the Panini sticker book for my birthday. The season I get my first season ticket our team was Boulton, Thomas, Daniel, McFarland, Todd, Nish, Macken, Daly, Powell, Gemmill, George, Hector, Hales, and James, manager Docherty. Just two years later Middleton, Langan, Buckley, Wicks, Moreland, McFarland, Rioch, Powell, Daly, Greenwood, Hill, Carter,Caskey, Duncan, manager Addison. Despite the additions of Langan, and Buckley who were both very good, the second team makes me sad, a feeling of greatness ebbing away.

What makes me laugh sometimes is that …yes the players get pelters for not playing well but at what stage do we think the manager might also be to blame because Warne is not blameless it’s his players team and formations I just want to see the end of this season and want to see better football with more direction

Warne isn't interested in good football. Or it's probably more accurate to say that Warne's idea of good football is very different to your average Derby fans idea of good football.
