This would be a staggeringly good signing. Fingers crossed the reports are true. 

Obvious to say now but I've never been a fan of lobbing on a striker without regard for the formation. We were on top before the sub, perhaps a learning point for Wayne.

Some very poor decision making today, countless times players should have passed instead of shooting.

By struggling, I meant there were large periods were we just couldn’t transition from the back to front and keep possession. Felt the same happened on Wednesday. They’ve not been hammering us with shots but seem like the only team likely to score for me.
Reckon Festy on for Buchanan and change to 4 at the back. Forsyth moving back could help deal with Adebayo, who’s been getting the better of the defence.

Easy to forget that the squad have been overperforming this season, considering it’s just kids and a mish mash of frees - we were expecting to struggle even before the deductions.
That’s been evident midweek and in this first half, we’re just coming up against better teams. 
Maybe changing back to a more familiar system at halftime will help. We’re really struggling here.

Why isn't 0 an option.
Its the only answer for an owner who's brought a club to the brink of extinction.

Would like to see Morrison more advanced at some point but for now I'd keep him in the same role as Tuesday. Ebosele gets a much deserved start down the right.

Had a decent second half and created the goal in the first. He can be frustrating and sloppy at time but he's only 23, just a couple years older than some of the academy lads on show tonight. I don't think we play to his strengths particularly but it's far too early to write him off.

Festy starts Saturday is my only takeaway

Rooneys pregame about wanting to win this was clearly a lie, we would’ve seen more of the first teamers on by now.

Definitely not a penalty but these League Two forwards have been all over Forsyth, outrunning and out jumping him. Thought he did well on Saturday but I’m not sure where the idea that he can cover at Cb ever came from.

Hopefully Morrison is up the pitch on Saturday. 

Would bring Shinnie on and move Morrison forward, let’s see what he can do in and around the box.

Nothing wrong with resting players for cup games and losing. 
A lot wrong with putting out a completely uncompetitive side. 
This must be a message to Morris after his comments demanding more youth players play. Very embarrassing all round.
