I remember the song on the Popside for that kit, to Brown Girl In The Ring.
"There's some brown sh*t on the pitch tra lalalala" 🙄

Coventry at Home NYD 1978, i think they played in all Red as memory serves me, if you are referring to their Admiral all brown kit (YUK), I think that was the season after, seem to recall Ian Wallace wearing it just before he moved to the Red Dogs!!! It went well with his complexion!!!!
For you young uns google him.

Who in the heck said I was referring to the brow... yeah ok... I was! 🤣
Happy to bow to your better knowledge/memory, and happy to be corrected. I just recalled it to being "Around that time", rather than a specific season, in all honesty.
👍🍻🐏

GB SPORTS reacted to G STAR RAM in You are a legend Mr Clowes. Now, please plan for the next stage
Not for me thanks.
Find it much more appealing to have a local good guy trying to make us a sustainable club, over a billionaire treating us like their train set.

Being competitive while living within our means is what I have long hoped for, Mr. Clowes delivered that, I can't praise the fellow enough.

We didn't exactly have buyers knocking the doors down last time we were up for sale and it's worth noting there are only around 3000 billionaires in the world.
Why not just let us consolidate after the years of turmoil we have had recently, is that means a few more years in power his league, hardly the end of the world. Still get to see our team play on a Saturday afternoon 😊

I never take anything personally...the point i was trying to make, is that you can have all the money in the world, we are still under restrictions, be it a business plan or FP. The business plan was "relaxed" this season, but my understanding is that no one knows what it looked or looks like now, we are allowed to spend on transfers, but I don't know how much, unless you are saying that is common knowledge, in which I stand corrected 😊

Think this maybe the second leg of the play-off semi-final in 1992 against Blackburn. Only because of the Andy Comyn goal and you referring to an important game.
Was limping around for this one has i had been kicked by a Police Horse in Blackburn at the first leg when we got Speedided.

GB SPORTS reacted to Day in Paul Warne Nomination - November Manager of the Month
Must be a mix up.
Paul Warne is a crap manager, read it on here so many times.
I'm sure something will be announced later with an apology for the error.

GB SPORTS reacted to G STAR RAM in Paul Warne Nomination - November Manager of the Month
The only logical conclusion I can reach here is that the panel don't have access to the following stats:-
Number of 'Warneball' passes per match
Number of crosses per match
Number of minutes given to players under the age of 21
xG per match
Likelihood of remaining in the Championship if we get promoted.
It really is like a trip back to the dark ages where people think scoring goals at one end and keeping them out at the other end are the things that win you matches.

I still give the same hand gestures towards the away fans as I did back in the late '70's... but nowadays that's usually down to arthritis and the occasional bout of pins and needles.
