i am not saying he should sack him I’m saying he should back him properly and give him the permanent managers job instead of interim nonsense

    You were doing so well...
Rooney ...but just without the personality, name, passion ....only the tactics ?
Seriously...I genuinely would be absolutely staggered if DC walked into the club and sacked the manager.  He knows the players, the fanbase, has an idea of who we want to sign.. and has a week to get cracking.
To dump him without giving him a chance and start looking for a new manager would be reckless as anything and totally at odds with his statement.

A day as important as any in our history. Think we all knew we were on the brink but having had so many near misses & given how long the entire process had dragged, it feels magical to finally have closure.
The suffering this fanbase has had to experience for the sum total of one Championship playoff final defeat has been an absolute disgrace, particularly set against the blatant cheating from some of our peers who fluked the promotion we couldn't. Well done all for keeping sane during what has to rank as the most unfathomable combination of vindictiveness & incompetence experienced by a club of our stature. The fact we not only kept going but rallied in the face of such adversity just shows how bloody strong this club & its fanbase are.
Thank you David Clowes. As you rightly said in your incredibly humble & impressive opening statement, words are cheap & you want to be judged by your actions. And the fact is that by your actions, you have saved this football club & acted like the true DCFC fan you are. Whilst the majority of us will remember this when times are tough, lets be sure to remind the sack 'em all now/where's the ambition/celebrity obsessed berks that we seem to have amongst our number where we would be without him.
Oh, and to Quantuma, the EFL, Mel Morris, Steve Gibson, the other parasite & all the charming tinpot oppo fans who revelled in our misery last season. There's a lot of comeuppance coming down the track for most of you - I can't wait to see it

Absolutely devastated by this. He’s galvanised the club in torrid times and I’ve never felt closer to the club than I am now.
That’s all down to Wayne. He’s been a revelation. He deserves success going forward and I’m sure he’ll do well. I do think it’s linked with the Kirchner deal falling through.
The last time I felt this way about a manager leaving was when Nigel Clough was sacked.  I was gutted, we then appointed Steve McC, Simmo and Eric Steele and look what happened there. It’s an opportunity but we’ve got to get it right.

Totally agree …how can this utter clown and useless former owner who left us in deep deep convuluted trouble still have some say ffs!!! If rather have Morgan or MA but someone who clown Morris wants …I’d tell them no chance …Morris has to be the most loathsome character I’ve ever come across even worse than Maxwell

Maybe he didn’t want to have to do this, but we’re so close to the brink he doesn’t have a choice now. I’ll back him all the way if he saves us, no matter how long it took for him to become a front runner.

I'd give up if I were you GoC. You must be getting fed up with correcting people.
What will you do when the club actually announce a squad and there's enough to field a team (albeit a young inexperienced team), and there's nobody left to correct?

If Ashley has got £50 million ready to go and if Ashley is so keen on sorting us out why hasn't he done it yet? Why does everyone involved in this process seem intent on sitting on their arse doing naff all and driving the entire fan base mad before actually doing something?

Don't turn on the players now. There is one man who is responsible for all this. Direct your anger and frustration at him.

bielik out on loan. will probably work for both parties. frees up most wages and gives him chance to get in polands WC squad. id also let stretton go. always seems injured and at L1 level hes going to get kicked more. would probably find a freebie ST whod play more and be more of a threat.
happy with the 2 FB and the 3 midfielders. id like to see a ball winning midfielder centrally with knight and bird, with sibley more advanced
