Agreed - how these two can think they belong in any sort of elite league is beyond me. Very little quality from either side.....

I'm halfway through the 2nd series. Just keep getting better. Love the moment when something else clicks for either yourself or the character.

Just wanted to add a thanks to those that recommended Dark - just finished the 1st series and can’t say I’ve entirely worked out what’s going on but thoroughly enjoyed trying.... I’ve been watching it in German with English subtitles which has possibly made it more complicated but (spoiler alert!) having the same character played by (in some cases) three different actors and then trying to keep on top of who is related to who has really added to the mystery....

I'm not disagreeing with that, but when you say VAR isn't the problem you're wrong. The VAR system has to include a human element who are still getting things wrong and therefore discrediting the system and also the sport. In addition the current application of VAR has taken the spontaneity and joy out of the game and is almost making it pointless to watch 'live' games. May as well find out the results and wait to watch the highlights.....
The only way to fix it is to hand back control to the on-field Ref and let him not only make the final decision as you suggest, but to also let him decide when he needs help with a decision rather than have some remote buffoon sending messages to the earpiece. Refs now have a 'get out of jail free' card where they can simply say 'VAR told me....' with no accountability held by the man supposedly in charge of the game....

Sky have just shown a replay of the Man City goal (while the game was progressing and the ball was in play) so that we could listen to what Kasper Schmeichel was saying at the time....I know that live football without fans is a bit crap, but replays so we can hear what the players are saying? Good grief......

AC/DCs Back in Black album was released 40 years ago today. Despite the band not playing what the media would call "fashionable" music, this album is one of the best sellers of all time (all music genres, not just heavy rock). It's a classic!
 

Recently watched the reruns of Broadchurch having missed it the first time round. What an absolute huge steaming pile of horse manure - crap characters; crap acting; crap storyline; unbelievable situations and the most ridiculous final episode when the guilty party was finally unveiled.... if you’re tempted to watch it, spend your time instead trying to trim your toenails with your own teeth - it will be a far more worthwhile way to waste 8 or so hours of your life.....
