Not the best, but the most eye-opening. Deano vs Wimbledon? I think?

Previous season we'd struggled for goals, then *bang* we had a striker.

We just knew that we had turned into a very decent team that day - what I liked about Saunders was that he always got his shot away early before any goalkeeper was set and Goddard was the perfect foil for him

  2. One recent one that sticks with me was Jason Shackel away at West Brom in the cup which we won 2-1 with a big away attendance - he hadn’t been picked all season then got a game in the cup and a Tony Pulis premiership WBA launched a salvo of about 30-40 crosses into our box which Shackel headed away mostly - Pulis said afterwards that they murdered us - I don’t think so - great day out

  3. To be fair to any genuine Middlesbrough supporters Reading it’s nothing personal to you lot - just your owner who came very close to actually destroying our football club despite what you think you know.

I know he has had injury problems over the last 2/3 years and had a spell up the A52, but I’ve always rated Sam Byram as a good versatile player. Full back, wing back, centre back, used to play wide man and scored goals for Leeds. Any takers? Be a good addition I think

Yes a decent player when fit - is he ever going to be ok?

Without wishing to give you any undue optimism, 10 games ago the Arsenal game looked like an absolute stinker of a fixture at this crucial phase but their season is falling apart and they know it. Their heads had completely gone against Brighton and they got stuffed. It's about more than just that game though, their last 7 games were DDDLWWL so two wins in 7. You're at home and I reckon you can get something from that cos they know they won't win the title and are just waiting to be put out of their misery by City and they can't slip into 3rd either so they are just making up numbers and in bottom half form.

Leeds and Everton both have games that they could get something out of this weekend but I still reckon if you get a point then that might be enough. Win it and Leeds need to win both after not winning any of the last 7. Leicester don't look like a team that believes that they can do it and are surely gone if things pan out at Newcastle as you'd expect, but then again they have West Ham last day who have nowt to play for. Granted, it's all just stats and probabilities and counts for jack sh*t when 22 blokes start kicking a ball around.

This is all rather weird actually. I haven't really given two sh*ts about the Premier League for a while until you lot were in it and struggling. Sadly, I think you'll get over the line though.

Yes looking like they will just survive as well as next season due to the rubbish going up this season from the championship

Can’t help feeling it would have been even funnier for them to lose at Wembley but I’ll take this😎🤣

I know what you mean but they would have made £1 million from the game at Wembley plus all the sell ons to the glory hunters for that game - so NO I am glad they end up with LESS

Birmingham allegedly about to sell Jobe Bellingham to Sunderland for £3m, could that fund a transfer for Bielik or are their finances too dire until the takeover is done?

They will get more when his brother moves to Real Madrid in sell ons but they can’t exactly be spending very much money at all

I think 2m & Cosgrove for Bielik would be a good deal with him having 1 year left on his deal

We are not going to get £2 million for Belick from a championship club ( unless Coventry go up) and would we want a player who couldn’t get a regular game at Plymouth whilst being on a reported £18,000 per week - very hard to see any of that happening

No way a premier League team would be in for Cashin. Even one just promoted.

That depends on their ultimate ambition and having the opportunity to soak up the costs once in the premiership
