A grassroots revolution would have no impact what so ever. Do you really think the PL cares at all about clubs local communities and whether they attend games or not? They care more about the Chinese audience because that's where the money is.
Just look at American sports like the NFL because that's the way English football is heading. Where clubs severe all ties to their local city and become franchises, sometimes even relocating entirely. 
Within 5 years we'll probably see Man City play a PL game in Abu Dhabi or Man Utd play one in Florida, if the Super League hasn't been resurrected by then. Why would anyone from Manchester feel any connection to these clubs in any way?

V interesting if true. If true, I assume the negotiation is now on what cash they need to pay of the minimum viable debt, whether that results in 0 or -15 points next season, and whether they get the stadium for no cost - would raise the question as to whether Morris would allow this. He'd walk away with absolutely nothing, which in my mind is how it should be. 
Pure conjecture obviously but makes sense as to why its taking time to agree to the particulars.

Careful now. I haven't got blind faith in Q. I do think though they are doing a lot of a better job than many on here think they are.
The challenges for them are significant. Significant with a capital F. 
Yes, they could improve their communication to fans a little, but probably only by not keep giving updates that lead fans to think substantial progress is imminent. They should be more careful with their phraseology, but whatever they say is never going to be enough for a febrile audience.
I had some dealings with Administrators and Receivers in my professional past, and would suggest that in this particular situation their priority in terms of ultimately keeping people happy is in the following order:
1) Their Professional Body (and PI Insurer)
2) Creditors
3) Bidders
4) DCFC Owner
5) DCFC Employees
6) EFL
7) Fans
The trickyness of this administration is 7). It is unusual for them to have such partisan oversight. Yes they might deal with unions, but this is a great step up from keeping them happy.  The bottom line is they cannot say anything that a) breaks confidentiality, or b) affects values, until such time as they have someone who has contractually agreed to proceed on exclusivity terms (with a wedge of money downpaid hopefully). Even then they will be tightlipped until the completion monies have been banked, allowing distribution. Loose tongues lose money, and leave Q open to great risks of being sued by anyone from 2) to 4) if they do not follow due process to the letter.
Difficult gig this one. Be interesting to see if they want to give it another go when the next Championship club goes bump.

We have received bids, more than one gives Q a better chance of securing the right owner for our medium to long term rebuild.
We don’t know how receptive the prospective PB’s are being, after all the club is in a mess with massive debts so I say fair play to those bidders who are willing to save the club but they will be playing hardball.
Q could have communicated better with the EFL (leaks or not) it appears but the end of this exhausting process seems close.

I must be the only one who is encouraged by that statement (or, perhaps, not discouraged by the statement). They could have said we’ve had no bids and we’re going to be liquidated. It’s all very long winded and frustrating, but at least for now - and things can change - they’re still positive it will get sorted. Can’t ask for more than that! ??

Seriously though I find the incompetence throughout the whole process off the scale.
The longer it drags on the club loses more value. None of it makes good business sense.
I'm actually at the stage now that I simply don't know how I feel about it all.
