Yep, same.  It's been getting worse.  I do think the likes of SN are decent journos, but they must have their hands completely tied by DET, or the money-men at Reach.  Pretty sure there's a policy there of story rejection by the editor if the strapline doesn't meet strict internal clickbait guidelines. Things like "Kirchner sends "clock is ticking" warning over Derby takeover", "Rooney "tempted" to make Derby U-turn...." do nothing to keep the fanbase calm and positive.  And there's nearly always a use of " " to no doubt provide a get out that it's just their interpretation.
The best one recently from Cussack was "Ravel Morrison drops Derby County transfer hint in relegation response", where there was literally no such reference in the article; a completely fabricated headline.  The stuff they've been pushing out...well, I struggle to find a word for it for so-called Derby supporters.

I agree.  That's why articles like the one in the Sun, and sadly a lot of the clickbait stuff the DET is chucking out with miss-leading headlines (dare I say blatant lies in one or two recent examples), are doubly annoying.  It's all about getting people onto their websites.  Good news never sells.  Bad news, or the potential for it, does.
    I remain positive.

I've recently just un-followed Derbyshire Live - Derby County because of this. Nothing but scaremongering, it's true bad news generates clicks but it got too much.
For the past 2 years they've been scaremongering and to be honest the past 2 years there wasn't much positive news to report on so I let it go but now there is positive developments and they're still pushing rubbish like "Rooney to Burnley", "Players ready to leave" I'm sick of it.
Sadly it's true negative = clicks but there becomes a point where you question whether they actually support Derby and would just prefer Derby to fold because of all the revenue they'd gain...

FWIW, in a rare bit of itk, I happen to know that the council have secured funding to purchase the stadium. So hopefully that one will be resolved soon.

Aw don't - I am actually starting to find it hilarious that despite everything that's happened to us, and where Notts Forest are concerned, who are having one of their best seasons for millennia, they still feel compelled to come on here and try and gloat.  Obsessed, bless them. Clearly harbouring secret desires to be a Ram.  Why else be that interested.

It's a Share Purchase Agreement - worked with a few of these.  Essentially where a Seller obligates to sell a specific amount of shares to a Buyer at an agreed price to take over a company. It contains the core terms and conditions of the sale and sets out what the buyer will be undertaking following the purchase but also normally also sets out the sellers obligations as part of the purchase too.

If you take everything Rooney's said then even if offered again now, I'm not sure he'd go as he seemed set on taking us forward for at least another year, not least getting more managerial experience.  IF the CK deal doesn't go through though, and say Ashley steps in, then it could be a different result as Rooney and CK seem to genuinely like each other, sharing the same vision .  Not sure the same would be said of a relationship with Ashley and if offered in that situation I suspect he may go.

Couldn't agree more.  I wouldn't blame anyone for leaving to play at a higher level. That and the temptation of more money will be there for sure.  But this season Rooney (and I think LR too deserves credit) have instilled such a team / family spirit that people want to stay.  I hope most do.

4 goals in 33 and 5 goals in 43. Seem to remember him not having a lot of composure in front of goal and fluffing a lot maybe that's a confidence or coaching thing.

I wouldn’t let him if the manager is concerned enough to call him out in public.
Id much rather the place in the squad went to a youngster who’d be contributing to our cause next season.
