BucksRam got a reaction from Jackal in The Administration Thread
Pretty sure we all know he'll say nothing. It's just yet another example of the poo stirring done by people wanting clicks and appearance money, including shows like Radio Derby. Nothing's changed, It was independently valued. If MM chooses to sell for less, that's his prerogative. Maguire, IMO is a professional poo stirrer. I bet when he was a kid he'd be the one, hand in the air "Miss! Miss! Johnny just copied Stevie's answers, I saw him. He's been doing it for months...you should look at all his tests for that time....."

FB marketplace for me always goes like this.
Richard Head: Is this still available?
Reply: Yes.

It really annoys me that Radio Derby treat this fella as a friend of ours, for me he is up there with Parry, Gibson and Coupig.

Agree, FB marketplace is mental. Stuck a "4 drawer 6' super-king divan bed - base and headboard only" on there a while back, advertised as such, but WITHOUT mattress, collection only. Several photos attached. I kid you not, these are some of the messages I received:
Does it have drawers? What size is it? Does it have a headboard? Do you deliver? I see it's collection only, I've got a Honda Civic; do you think it'll fit? I don't want the base but can I just have the mattress? Next time I think I'll just make a bonfire.

BucksRam got a reaction from Rammy03 in Fikayo Tomori
Really pleased for Tomori - more than deserved and realising the potential we all saw in those early days.
But if Southgate is picking players on merit then where's Maddison, one of the best midfielders in the PL this season. Replace Phillips for him.
Not usually a Dier fan but this season at Spurs he has been rock solid and would have picked him over White. Guehi to be fair has had a really good season.
Trippier been injured for ages - gamble. It's a very right sided squad though.

Hey B4 the point of the thread is to say things a Derby fan would never say. So the reverse is what is really meant. Saying no pleasure in seeing Notts Forest suffer really means it gives us great pleasure. And saying B4 lacks passion really means completely the opposite. It's a compliment buddy! No-one would say you lack passion ?

OK
Playing out from the back is a tactic often used by managers who would like to keep possession, It would normally start with the goalkeeper who would pass to either fullback or possibly the centre half inside the penalty area, This tactic could put pressure on the goalkeeper with the opposition closing the keeper down, But in most circumstances it will be used to try and open the opposition up by passing through their midfield and eventually putting pressure on the oppositions defence, Where an opportunity to score would make this a good tactic.
How did I do?

I think we all get you. We just want an end to it, especially now we're so close. And the rumour mill of players potentially leaving is hard to take. I'm reading it that no news remains good news. I don't doubt for a minute CK (or his team anyway) will be pushing as hard as they can to get this done so Wayne can get contracts in front of people. Red tape as always is hard to break through. I'm going for a breaking news story, and a positive one at that, by this Thursday latest. No idea why, and def not ITK.

BucksRam got a reaction from Ewe Ram in Pitch Invasions: Problems or Celebrations?
Don't the leagues have the power to impose fines and deduct points? I get the emotion that causes the pitch invasion, either celebration or sheer relief, but at the end of the day it's invading the players place of work where they should feel safe. If we were at work and a few people stormed in up to our faces screaming abuse you'd feel rightly threatened. Multiply that to several thousand. If I recall didn't Blackpool get a 3 point deduction several years ago following a pitch invasion? May be wrong. Imagine how Everton would feel being hit with 3 points now? Or Port Vale, so they'd drop out the top 6.
Nothing Mel did actually threatened people's lives (livelihoods yes) but we ended up with 21 points deduction and £100,000 fine. For me entering the pitch area, verbally threatening or physically attacking players or staff should be far more severely punished. At the end of the day it ought to be seen as the club failing to control its fans. Will be interesting to see what wrist slapping Everton, Port Vale or Notts Forest get. Probably nothing.
