I took @angieram post to be related to that one poster who posted fishing gifs and changed their avatar along the same lines, pretty much confirming he/she was looking to get a “bite” from people as a direct result of their posts. 
The forum is about discussion and difference of opinion of course, there are those who think it will happen, those who think it won’t and a great plenty sat somewhere in between. The reality we all face is we don’t know and won’t know until the only people directly involved in this discussion/transaction provide us with an update.
I’ve posted before around my own take on it being to look at what info and facts are in the public domain in order to inform my view. The silence is worrying, and also reassuring as if things were on the rocks the media would surely be all over it looking for clicks. The EFL issued a number of statements raising concerns and timescales previously, they have gone quiet also. Last week we had info from the admins, CK, media outlets to say it was almost done. Nothing new has come into the public domain in the last week, so for me until it does I’ve got no choice but to wait. No amount of worrying or speculation on my part will change the process or outcome at this stage. 

I don’t think anyone has a real issue with any poster having any opinion and it’s certainly isn’t what Angie is saying here, so don’t twist her words to fit your point.
The issue is posters being smartarses, for lack of a better term. It’s easy to be negative and try and make remarks about it not happening or going ‘I told you all so’ at the slightest sniff that something might be up. Frankly I find it disgusting that there are fans on here that would rather be right than try and see that our club gets through this and be able to move on.
Posters have to take responsibility for what they are saying because we have a hell of a lot of people coming on here and reading this thread. One person trying to be a smartarse is read by everyone else who is just as frustrated and drags more and more people to that more negative thinking. Then it snowballs to the point fans are tweeting negatively towards Kirchner which then can sour tat relationship. 
Think it’s not gonna happen? Fine, but give me a logical reason as to why and back up what you’re saying because so far no one has and they are using this thread for their own selfish reasons rather than it’s impact on everyone else.

No, a troll is someone who posts deliberately inflammatory comments in order to get a reaction. They usually get found out pretty quickly and are sent on their merry way, but it upsets me when they take other posters with them because they get frustrated by their comments and react.
You're still here and I never agree with you on anything, so obviously your definition doesn't apply!

You know how long this taken, do you think another bidder can come in now and renegotiate all the different pieces, the creditors, HMRC, the stadium. There’s no way that would be done by Christmas let alone the start of the season.
If this deal falls through the EFL will call it a day.

If it is (and it stops some of the pilchards posting their bull) then I’m all for it - though I think politely asking people to consider their behaviour isn’t really cancel culture at all…..

Wonder what some people will find to be negative about after this goes through. I also wonder what they're like in real life, outside of their interest in football.
