I'm assuming it's just money laundering checks..they can be bizarre at the best of times especially for large sums of money..seen deals held up for 4 or 5 days with no explanation or reason for the delays in checks..so still not worried yet..

Precisely. He’s told a story, that’s his job. There have been reactions to the news in that story from fear, anger, nervousness whatever. There have been some personal comments doubting the veracity and others saying “I knew it !” 
I didn’t like the way he presented the story, quite apart from any accuracy it may or may not have. But apologise ? No chance
Apologise for expressing a reasonable opinion or expressing an emotion on the basis of the evidence or how it has been presented   ? 
 
Maybe some should temper the personal comments but we don’t do that when we talk about player’s decision making or effectiveness in the holding role do we. ?
 
 

It should have done. Ditto about the world cup, the fact it was given to Qatar is a moral travesty. 

It would still get checked.  If you're moving a significant chunk of money between any 2 locations, especially if it's across international borders, it's going to get checked. What I presume was being said is that you can't get the money "pre-cleared" or anything, the checks get done when the money actually moves.

No, he absolutely should not have.
The man is a well-known business vulture - he waits in the shadows until the business is on its knees before swooping in and putting a tenner on the table.
He will let us get to the point of having absolutely nothing to our name - no Rooney, no player re-signings - before offering a derisory amount that will see us start with -15. All for the sake of getting something a little bit cheaper than market value.
I promise you, he should only ever be a last, last, absolutely final choice.

Well that’s got to be a glimmer of light surely 

People getting upset about CK playing golf probably need to accept that DCFC is probably not the most important thing in his life (unsurprisingly).  He’s already implied this in many tweets (I think some people genuinely thought he’d fly over here for every game or move to Derby). This is a business deal to him. DCFC means very little to him on a personal basis. If the deal doesn’t go through then, to him, it will just be business. Not palatable for a fan, perhaps, but it is reality. 
 So I don’t see why anybody would expect him not to be going about his daily business and sticking to previous commitments, not least because he’s probably got a phalanx of lawyers and others doing his bidding. What is he likely to be able to do himself anyway?
Given his use of Twitter, I am a bit surprised by the lack of communication; I’ve always thought this would bite him on the bum because people would a: expect him to give running commentary on every aspect of his life and DCFC but also because any radio silence is taken as ominous (as I am now doing).

If the money is already in escrow, then the transfer has been made, has it not? It may simply be delayed due to additional security measures as outlined on numerous occasions, by numerous posters. Also, using escrow does require multiple transactions for each destination account - to escrow account and from escrow account. Rather than the wild accusations (not referring to you with this comment) we've seen this morning, how about we hold tight and see what happens? Either way, we'll know soon enough. After standing firm for 2 years + through all the trials and tribulations, mere days scarcely matter to my way of thinking. 

I won a £2468 bet in December, it took nearly 10days for Paypal to release the money once SkyBet cashed it. They did credit checks on me, ID checks, all kinds of laundering nonsense, all for <£2500!
As for the multiple transactions, there is a tweet, from CK himself, a couple of weeks ago, stating how it would flow, before the club would be his. It was something like money goes to UK, then to Quantuma, then to Creditors/MSD, then the Creditors gets divided and some things released in court, MSD do something to release the charge and stadium, then the funds for the Stadium sale (3rd party) will exchange... etc.etc.etc. Lots of little things. Then Quantuma apply for the club to leave Admin...

Well, that was a good refresher on why I don't listen to talksport. "Kirchner told us it's all fine but wouldn't go on air" and a lot of ads and waffle. And Jordan did say there were things that made Erik Alonso seem legitimate at one point.
Time to cheer myself up by listening to microphone feedback for several hours.
