Can’t we just enjoy (in moderation of course) a comfortable win regardless of the opposition?

True. However the only reason we are in league one is down to the points deduction (unless you have forgotten) and we are now in a rebuild phase. Patients will be required.
On paper we are a bigger club than we are in, however all these fans who say we are the richest club in the league say so without any proof what so ever. Only the owner and his accountant will know the truth.
We have been placed in this situation due to piss poor management in the past. We now have to manage the club and our expectations

In the interview on this thread (at 47 seconds) he literally said we don’t come away with it feeling like a victory.
If, in another interview, he did say a draw feels like a win, come on, surely he meant scoring two very late goals to grab a draw makes it feel like a win. I think that’s a very normal and common sensation and not an indication of his expectation. Same with their manager, if you’re 2:0 up on 88 minutes you’re bound to be disappointed not to have won even if you’ve been played off the park for those 88 minutes.

We didn’t pay a fee for McGoldrick, didn’t give him a 3 year contract and he wasn’t on high wages, but apart from that….

I don't recall McGoldrick costing a transfer fee.  He came on a free, left on a free.
Not thinking about resale value whilst throwing money at promotion attempts got us where we are today.  Like it or not, we're living within our means now.  The days of throwing away transfer fees on 30+ year olds are gone.

The kind that wanted a three year contract on high wages for a 30 year old with no resale value at the end of his contract.

There was a good chat on Radio Derby about him after the match.  Apparently he wanted a decent amount of money and a 3yr deal, which led onto the point that if we were to get promoted we'd be stuck with another 30+ yr old thats not good enough for the Championship whilst we're trying to live within our means.
We're in a tricky situation, we need players to get out of the division but don't want to be lumbered with them if we go up.  The days of simply chucking more money at it are gone.
Ideally you'd have a youth academy producing players but that obviously had most of the talent stripped during administration. I know the football is a bit desperate at times but I'm still willing to be patient due to the fact that as a club we aren't equipped to really progress yet, we're still in the recovery period shopping in the bargain basement bin and waiting for a new crop of youngsters to develop.

I find all this abuse of Warne at the match heard on the TV coverage and on social media really embarrassing and detrimental to us as a club. I've never know so much ire directed at a Derby manager before in my life. Can we all stop moaning and just support our team? We've been through the mill as a club and some fans need to realise we aren't just going to 'piss the league'. This constant tirade against our manager is really tiring.

Yes, but can't you see that it's the system that leads to this sort of ownership. Derby, Reading, Wigan, Sheffield Wednesday - it doesn't really matter which club, the game of football is not sustainable for the majority of clubs in its current form.
We have had a recent administration and a new owner in place for fifteen months and some are already calling for him to spend money the club hasn't got, chasing success. Or sell.

I'm sure there are many, like me, who do give more than 2 f**** about things other than just what happens on the pitch because we realise without David Clowes we would have no pitch to give 2 f**** about.
As for hating the manager, grow up.
