Could be forced into it very soon anyway with the mess at derby ,
certainly the last 3 years there does not appear to be any area of life free from people telling us all what to do and what to think??‍♂️

You can mitigate the effects of not enough at night by napping in the day. In fact daytime napping (biphasic sleep) is closer to how we were designed to exist from a health standpoint.
The island of Ikaria in Greece maintained siestas when the rest of Greece fazed them out. They now call is the island where people forget to die because the average life expectancy is so much higher.
We all dream in REM sleep, but we only tend to remember them when we have them close to waking up.

Your comment suggest you think I’m pro racism, pro Russia and war ( death of innocent s ) ?
perhaps you think I would be happy for people to run on pitches and chain themselves to goalposts if the tee shirt was pro fracking?

I’m willing to bet you didn’t read my first post, if you did you would see that I quoted both sides of the argument not having a place on the terraces, taking the knee , booing taking the knee , I am as much against any footballer using the game to promote an anti vax stance ( though who would have the balls to do that on a sky interview )as I am klopp preaching ,
watching reporter s trying to force the chelsea manager to condemn the owner or make a slip he can be vilified for ??‍♂️,

Yea your right , those of us who have watched the game for 50 odd years should just shuffle off quietly now the money men and the virtue signallers have decided they want the game

Nope , football used to be 90 mins of pure escape from daily life , turn up and shout your head off and be immersed in the game no matter what was going on in life ??‍♂️, the game has been hijacked first by the money makers now the virtue signallers at worst or those who want to use it as a platform for politics at best ,
look at the chelsea manager having to plead to stop being put on the spot re abramavich , klopp spouting constantly, if you want to constantly spout your politics s Klopp ( non jabbed are the same as drink drivers just one of his gems )then give the football up and stand for election ,
chelsea ? Why punish the fans ? Any income can be frozen and allow fans to buy tickets to watch their team , it not five minutes ago the owner was donating the Stamford bridge hotel for free to help the covid effort ??‍♂️

Morning squad. I've been radio silence on here the last few months for two reasons:
I can't add anything on the situation between just sorrow I've been working on something new For those who don't know and for those who don't care (understandable, no complaints from me) I produced a book called Pride in 2020, which went into the last 20 or so years of the club. That was nice, but the issue is that for those 20 years we were pretty awful. So I wanted to work on something new and a bit more feel good. And so...
I'm really, really pleased to say that my next book will go live in Autumn of this year and it's titled: Groundwork: The Inside Story Behind Jim Smith's Derby County.
Just like Pride, it's told from the behind the scenes perspective of those incredible few years and includes insight from around 60 former players, coaches and staff members at the club. From Igor, Eranio and Sturridge, through to Steve's McClaren and Round, it delves into what made that time so special. But more than this it focuses on the work of Jim as a manager and crucially, as a man. I've spoken with the creators of Prozone, the first sports psychologist in British football, the first fitness coach in the game, to evaluate how pivotal Derby (yes, Derby) were in the evolution of football in this country. And there is also a section remembering Jim himself, including thoughts from his family, as well as close friends like Harry Redknapp and Howard Wilkinson. There's even a Graham Richards cameo or two.
I know there's a lot of continuing nightmares around us at the minute, but hopefully this brings a bit of joy and memories of what this club can be. ?

im sick to death of it , it’s not the place for it so get it out  , serious issues are not best served by pampered footballers, managers and showbiz celebs virtue signaling

Yes it was the FDA that wanted 75yrs to release the data.  I think the Pfizer 'confusion' comes from sloppy headlines or comments - such as the one I made tbf.  Rather than explain what the FDA is and the difference its just easier to gloss over 'pfizer docs' and '75yrs' as ultimately those are the documents we want to see.  Regardless of the who and the why, in the interests of full transparency the documents should have been made available a long time ago.
As for FDA funding and corruption, how far down the rabbit hole do you want to go? The following USA Today article states that
'Based on our research, we rate PARTLY FALSE the claim a majority of the FDA's budget comes from companies it regulates'
but goes on to state that Pfizer et al
'do comprise a majority of the funding for the subsection of the agency that handles drug approvals'

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10511535/Former-FDA-head-Scott-Gottlieb-warns-against-delaying-application-COVID-19-vaccine-kids.html
Headline: 'Ex-FDA chief Scott Gottlieb fears delaying seeking approval for COVID-19 vaccine for under-fives will 'confuse' parents and make them less interested in vaccinating their kids - as he urges CDC to relax national indoor mask guidelines
Multiple mentions about him working previously for the FDA and urging them to promote vaccines for the under 5s etc.  Not one mention of him being a current Pfizer board member...

So yeah, whilst I could have phrased my comment a little better I make no apologies for continuing to demand the truth and investigations into what has happened over the past few years - with particular interest into early treatments that if proven to be true, had the potential to save millions of lives and prevent the build up of massive worldwide debt and Govt oppression.
And no, I don't expect to change any hearts and minds on here - you're either preaching to the choir or a figure of fun but I'll continue to post the occasional new bit of information that some people may find interesting and ignore the trolls.  Whilst I haven't yet reached levels of activism that require me to leave the comfort of sitting in front of my PC ? there are various online petitions and movements I have joined that want answers and transparency re. various aspects of the covid pandemic.
